Details of the complaint :

On 11 Dec 2011, i'm looking for MB for my new PC, and it happens that stasio, sells his ASUS MAXIMUS 4 GENE-Z/GEN3. He stated in the topic that the Whole board is new, he just opened the box to check accessories. After few PM's, we agreed to deal.

12 Dec 2011 i transferred the money into his mentioned account (total RM650+RM10 postage) . He send the Mobo in the same day (12 Dec 2011).

13 Dec 2011 : i received to mobo, around 1.30 - 2 pm. then i open the mobo box, check all the accessories. Still remains intact / wrapped. then i proceed with checking the board. when i checked it, i can saw the sign/mark that that indicates the board was used before (mark at the processor mounting fan hole, minor scratches the back side of the board, and fingerprints on the back metal plate back of the mobo.) and most surprisingly, in the processor socket got 1 lifted pins and some pins got some green stain like burn mark or oxidation of the pins. then i snapped some pics and called him. then he asked me to pm him details about problem of the mobo. i pm-ed him with some pics.

then i called him back. he asked me if the mobo can be booted or not or whats the problem. i just said that im not dare to check, because of the pins condition, i may end up frying my processor. and i asked him whatever the board is new or not, he said the board is new, never tested, just open accessories to check. then i ask why did he sells his mobo at first place, then he said that he bought the mobo for his sister, then his sister cannot come and collect it and ask him to sell it. and i ask did he check the mobo when be bought it, he said. "no. i did not check it, i just check the accessories then i dont do anything else". then when i insist of refund he just repeat that he dont do anything about the mobo and dont know anything about that. after a long talk, he said that he will contact CEX computer exchange for solution (the shops he bought the mobo) and sends him (cex) pm. he asks me to do the same but i refuse because i dont deal with him and he (cex) dont even know me. he send a pm to cex and then send me a CC of pm that he send to cex.

14 Dec 2011 : im sms-ed him to arrange a meet in KL. he said that he is busy and asked me to go to CEX at seri kembangan by myself. he dont answer my call or anything, as he said he in the meeting and was so busy, and he got send to johor for work. and after waiting a hour he gives me cex contact number and asked me to refer to cex using his name.(4.50 pm) i called cex and tell them about my condition now, cex just said that dont waste his time or my mine, just come to their shop at seri kembangan and he will check the board. Ok. then i went to seri kembangan and arrived there at 7.30 pm. cex asked me the problem with that board and i showed him the problem at the CPU socket. there is no 1 to 1 exchange because its past 7 days after the purchase, and because of the cpu socket got physical damage, warranty is somehow impossible. but still cex will help me to RMA the board if i want. so i send to board to cex for warranty.

Then after that, i informed Stasio that im sending the board for RMA. he didnt reply to my sms , nor answering my call. Then i send a sms to stasio if he dont respond with my sms/call, i will lodge a police report and open dispute topic in 2 days. still no reply from him.

15 dec 2011 : i received a sms from Stasio, he said that he is very busy and was sorry with that. he asked me did i contact cex or not. and i said i RMA-ed the board. Next sms, he asked me whether cex will replace the board for me, i just said I dont know. The reply was "Ok, i hope u got replacement. sorry one more time for inconvenience." then i called him multiple times, he just wont answer. i sms-ed him for full refund and i wil not wait for RMA. no reply. so here im today end of the story.

Im buying the MOBO that he claims in NEW condition, and then i ended up sending the board to RMA behalf him. and when i ask for refund, he ignored me.
i paid RM 660 for the board, but ended up wasting more money then buying new one. (travel from teluk intan > KL> seri kembangan, in the middle on traffic jam), FYI market price is RM 720.

What i want is nothing more, nothing less. a Full refund + travel fee for doing his RMA.
or he buy me a exact new mainboard and give to me by hand. so i can check it by myself. then i will send back the original board whatever it can be RMA-ed or not.

Hope u all give input on what should i do, if i done anything wrong then plz do tell me.
