Whining Noise When Rev/Accelerating

Hi,

I recently changed my headunit from a normal brand (Dynaquest) to JVC. However now I have the following problem :

HU ON, A/C OFF : No whinning noise from front speaker when rev/accelerating
HU ON, A/C ON : Whinning noise from front speaker when rev/accelerating
HU OFF, A/C ON : No whining noise from front speaker when rev/accelerating

Setup :

HU Front Preout -> AMP -> Front Speaker
HU Sub Preout -> AMP -> Sub Woofer
HU -> Back Speaker

If I remove the RCA from the amp, the noise go away. Also, if I remove the RCA from the head unit and connect it to the amp, the noise go away.

Any idea what is the problem?

*Also recently changed my alternator

Entry Level ICE Setup

Hi,

This is my first audio system built. Below is what has been installed :

1. Speaker :
- Front = Adam's Digital GTR-442 (2-Way Coaxial Speaker)
- Rear = Adam's Digital RCX692 (2-Way Coaxial Speaker)

2. Sub-Woofer : Kenwood KFC-W2509

3. Amplifier : Adam's Digital 4 Channel Class-AB Power Amplifier (Jade Series) - JDM-70.4 (1800W)

4. Cap Ayam HU : Dynaquest (Bought it before installing the audio system. Planning to change to Sony or any suggestion?)

I have zero knowledge in ICE and dont know whether this setup is proper or not (installed by Brothers) and what else is needed to be installed for a better sound?

Current Setup :

Front Left + Back Left Speaker = 1 Channel
Front Right + Back Right Speaker = 1 Channel
Sub-Woofer = 2 Channel

The problem now is, the behind speaker is louder than the front and I cant seem to adjust the fader because both the front and rear is under one channel. Will a branded HU increase the sound quality? and what Double Din HU is recommended? Do I need any preamp or crossover? Please advise which trusted and professional shop I can visit to peform a better job.

Is my GC gonna die soon?

Hi /k,

These few days my PC always will display scrambled display then PC will crash/restart.

Sometimes instead of restart/crash, it will show that the NVIDIA driver has recovered from bla bla and the display will be back to normal. Then after for awhile, it will happen again.

I then cleaned the whole computer and also the GC and reapplied thermal paste and yet the same problem.

After reading around, it might be hardware failure (capacitor on the GC). They suggest either replacing a new GC or try to oven bake (200C) the old GC to melt the contact point of the capacitor.

But instead of oven baking (I was scared to do so), I directed a hair dryer to the GC (the chip) for awhile (5min or so). But I'm sure it did not hit the 200C mark.

I then let it cool down and fix it back to the mobo. Now the issue is no more there . Dunno how long it could last more
