new cpu 2k+ recommendation

Hi. I am planning to build a normal gaming rig with a graphic card around RM2k.
Is there any recommendation for me?
2k budget does not include monitor, keyboard since i can use the old one.
wishlist
- 1gb graphic card at least and 4gb memory.

f6 installing scsi, when reinstall windowxp

Greetings all.

I just bought a dell vostro 1200, last few day come with vista basic pre-installed.
problem comes, when i try to format and install window xp pro. It shows "There is no disk in this drive" when it reach the choosing which partition to install the window OS.

yeah, the error is cause by the SATA harddisk that i had. So, i tried to manually install the hard disk by pressing F6 when my xppro bootable cd runs.
I downloaded the actual sata driver(according to my service tag) from http://www.dell.com. I plugged in my external floppy drive with the driver diskette, successfully installed "Intel® 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH8M-E/M)" driver after i pressed F6.

NOW, when i press continue and format the partition and start to install the window OS. It appears "Insert the disk labeled intel matrix storage manager driver into Drive A, then press Enter". I did not remove my floopy, driver is inside, but ? WHY it stuck?

any pro can help?

Compaq v3000 problems

My Compaq v3000 keyboard & mousepad on the laptop is not functioning.

anyone has an idea how to fix or recover them?

p/s: all driver are installed correctly (because it works last few week, only today it went down, no idea what my sister do on the laptop)

erm... any idea why i plug in my headphone and i'm still able to hear the music outside my headphone (laptop)?

currently is the driver that are installed to my OS is Conexant High Defination SmartAudio 221

No Operating System

My laptop shows "No Operating System" while i turn it on...

I tried to boot it with windowxp bootable cd, but it doesn't show anything up. CD ROM is running, but the screen still black in color.

mm.. may i know what actually "NO O/S" caused by??

i faced a problem that i could not add music into the phone music player to play my mp3 songs.
any pro could teach me how to fix it?

all songs are mp3 format, while i try to add track into player, it said feature not supported

router keep restart

Problem: Router restart always.

I can't really detect what is the reason of keep restarting, for my new bought router (ZyXEL prestige 600 s)

router was putting in my room connected to my pc by using LAN cable.
I'm using wireless for my parent room pc.

router restart always while both pc are ope. so far i couldn't detect the reason why it restart always.
any idea why? is that cause by my parent pc that using wireless adapter?

Hi guys. I'm really new to this and i have doubts on choosing a good camera.

my budget is around 1.5 to 2k.
I don't like big camera so i prefer type like Sony DSC-T100.

I saw a lot topic comparing sony vs canon, and people prefer canon because of their taking picture quality? I'm sorry if i make mistake here.

well well. i have seen and tested sonly T100, yes i'm kinda like it, the screen and pic taken. but i would like you ppl which type of Canon camera can stand againts DSCT100?
Canon PowerShot SD850 IS?

Or others? anyone can introduce? tell me why as well, thankss
