Is service charge taxable for GST purpose?

Hi,

I wondering is service charge normally collected by restaurants taxable under GST?

Eg, Food RM 10.00, Service charge (5%) = RM 0.50, GST (6%) = RM 0.63 (RM 10.50 * 6%)

Customs told me it should be taxable (treatment as above) but is there anyone that can re-verify it?

Hi guys,

I'm a UBS newbie! How am I able to export all data from period 13 - 18 without doing year end closing for period 1 - 12? I tried using exporting the relevant batches from period 13 - 18 and then import it to a new 'company'.. however,all the data is mashed up into 1 batch instead. Please help! thanks!

Hi all, I have a persisting problem. My iphone and other apple products couldnt connect to my house Wifi whereas there is no such problems with my laptop. However, the iPhone works fine with other public wifi. So im thinking it most probably would be my router's problem. I'm using DSL-2640T. Any guide to fix this will be a great help! thanks

Hi ya ppl~

My friend had recently posted something for me from US using USPS ever since end of january.. and up till now I still did not receive any news or updates about my package. She can only provide me with the customs number and i tried to track and confirm from the USPS webbie, but up till now the message i get is this:

Label/Receipt Number: LCxxxxxxxxxUS
Class: Priority Mail International Parcels
Service(s): International Letter
Status: Acceptance

I tried calling the local pos laju malaysia, however they are unable to do anything because they also cannot track it. They also told me to follow up with it again after 1 month! I tot that it'll only take 6 to 10 days.. but no news until now.. kind of worried >.<

any of you guys face this kind of problem?
