Beware of fake capacity of HDD & sdcard

So there was a cheap high capacity of HDD thread that got deleted. Here's how the scam works:

The seller buys cheap low capacity of sdcards (1gb) and uses software to edit the capacity info to 256gb and change the attribute to overwrite when capacity is full. Normal people buy home and plug-in the sdcard, they will see 256gb and give a positive review. When the sdcard is full, the new data will be overwritten old data and makes old data disappeared/corrupted. That's why you see some people complain about their data corrupted in the review.

Same works on HDDs and USB thumb drives.

I bought Msi gtx 1080 ti graphic card (RM3999) from lowyat forum seller on Last Friday. The seller sent it by Saturday.

Today is 12th Jan, no update at all. I've called them few times but their CS are totally useless. The seller called them GDex yesterday and the CS said the parcel was sent to KL for sorting. I live in Penang but GDex sent it to KL for sorting, that I can understand. But I don't understand how it takes 4 days for sorting without any update.

I start to feel either GDex lost the parcel or their worker stole it. I am so helpless and feel depress now.

On the other hand, I also bought 3 items from 2 sellers on Taobao last Saturday. The parcel already on the way to Penang from KL today.
