Building network into new home

Hi, any suggestion on how do i renovate my home by building network (Network Ports, Patch Panel, IP Phone)? Since my new house isnt like any house on Klang valley whereby all is network ready, my house is located at Gambang pahang. I planned to upgrade my house since unifi will be coming there soon & also for CCTV NVR.

Most contractor I asked they dont provide that kind of support at Gambang area which is very sad

Any public swimming pool in klang valley area? especially for kids...I see swimming pool charges at some resort are quite expensive. Wanted to go to waterpark but sure many people really troublesome. Hard drive not detected during Debian installation

I'm having problem in installing debian wheezy 7.5.0 on Supermicro server running on raid 1 whereby the hard drive is not detected. This server is running 2x 600GB hdd. The Debian installation from usb thumbdrives went ok until i reached into partition section whereby the drives is not there to be selected

I've tried to use debian-7.5.0-amd64-netinst and also from debian nonfree version but still the same thing happened, I've tried to load the drivers from http://www.areca.us/support/s_linux/linux.htm but it seems like i dont know how do i make this server detects the hdd during installation, is there any way for me to make this happen?

Hi everyone,

is there any useful collaboration software that can makes people exchange information online? A software that can makes a group of people share files and info (eg whatsapp group/ facebook group)

I am having difficulties in sharing and exchanging information towards my office colleague, usually we used email/ skype/ sms but i think it is not efficient.

normally a company used management system whereby in there they can share/exchange files and information but in my situation there's not.

Would much preferred an online collaboration software that is can be installed on pc and also mobile , would somebody help me what is the best software that is available?

Firstly, I just want to say sorry if i posted this on the wrong thread or disobeying thread rules but i might need some help , seriously need some help how do i get this thing done

I posted this on behalf of my sister and the story goes like this,

On 11/9/2013, I saw a post on the notice board of a website (to be precise, mobile88) that is selling a Samsung Galaxy S3 for RM 430. I texted the person asking for the availability of the phone and I was answered rudely, the guy said he won’t entertain anyone but like all other consumer, I did ask for the phone’s condition, colour and all, I mean I wanna know what I’m spending on. On the site, it said that the phone is ONLY RM430. No extra charges. He told me that if I wanna buy, he will send the phone using courier to my place.
So after discussing with him, I decided to buy the phone from him. He told me to bank in RM430 in his RHB Bank account named Tan Hoay Hin, account number 11419200171360. Then he told me to make the payment immediately. So after I made the payment, he asked me to wait till he text me at 9am tomorrow, he will text as soon as he post the device.
On the next morning, he texted me saying that I have to make another payment which is RM475 for DHL security deposit and insurance. He told me that post office don’t take devices as parcel. But he also told me that that RM475 is refundable upon arrival.

So I did made the payment and he told me the package have been sent and he even gave me the DHL reference number.

But on the next day, he texted me again asking for more money. He told me that I have to pay RM550 for registered sirim sticker, the RM550 is for processing fee. This is my first time buying device via post, so I thought it was necessary to do all that. Later that day, I paid RM550 to that guy. After paying, the guy texted me saying that the device had been sent and will arrive late, that is on Tuesday.

On 15/9/2013, again, he texted me asking for money. He asked for RM370 for 2 papers.but then when I paid RM370, he told me that that amount is for 1 paper only, so I had to pay another RM370 for another paper. And so I did paid him a total of RM740. But he said everything that I paid previously excluding the RM430 for the phone is all refundable, so I didn’t worry much.
But on the next day, he sent me this:

When I asked him where does my previous money goes, he texted me :

Then I told him to give me back my money and I will do everything myself. Then he said:

After giving him my account details, I asked him for the transaction number and transaction printscreen, cause he told me that he is using online transaction. He did give me the transaction number but he didn’t give me the transaction printscreen. I demanded for my money back, but a few minutes after that he told me that he cancelled out the transaction that has been done because his reason was the dhl and sirim didn’t return any money unless the process is done.
I called my friend that knows about this stuff and he asked me to lodge a police report. So I did, but the police didn’t even care to look at it as a serious issue since I am a student and they told me that it is my own risk for buying things online or via sms. They can’t do anything to get my money back.
I called dhl asked for enquiries about the parcel and even checked the reference number he gave me, the dhl operator told me there were no record found. Then they also added that it wouldn’t be a problem if its transporting device from Segamat to Selangor, just have to pay less than RM50 and the device will be sent.
I wasted RM2200 for this guy and my device is nowhere in my sight. So now I’m in losses. I really feel cheated.
I called SKMM for reporting him, but then SKMM told me that this is a police case, I can’t lodge a report. I call Tribunal Pengguna for it and they say I can’t lodge a report unless I have the name, IC no., and address of that guy.
But on 18/9/2013, he texted me informing that he re-advertise the phone on the mobile88 for anyone who wants to buy the phone. Then I replied asking for my money and he refused;

Then I went to RHB Branch. I wanted to obtain the seller’s details for lodging a report to the tribunal. I bought the police report and the transaction slip with me and showed it to the person in charge, but they say they cant give out the details because it’s against their policy. Yesterday I called and ask if I can have the account number holder’s detail if I have the police report, they said I can get the details if I have the police report and the transaction slips. Even the person at the information counter told me the same thing. I don’t know why that person in charge refused to give out the details to me.
Right now, I don’t care about the phone, I just want my money back. If the guy give me back my money, I won’t take this matter to the tribunal.
