my father buy an old honda accord 1987 last year which have a18a on it. since it consume a lot of FC (because it is carb) and have low torque (i think bcoz it can't pecut other old car... haha,,) i consider to swap the engine. can carb engine swap into fuel injection?!! or any other way to improve it performance without swap he engine?!!

my father bought a honda accord 1987 auto (LX i thought) a few month ago and its perfomance is quite bad. how to improve its perfomance? i need help from 3G honda accord sifu since i am 'buta kereta'(not buta huruf) . can i swap it engine into v-tec engine since the engine have leakage and what is recommended?!! where can i do it in kajang,bangi or dengkil area?!! tq 4 ur help...
