Due out on October 23, the upcoming simulation RPG is a crossover between series such as Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Mobile Suit Gundam.

The game will cost 8,208 yen on PlayStation 3, with a download version of the same price, and a “Special Sound Edition” including 20 songs for 11,286 yen. On PS Vita, the game will cost 7,171 at retail and download, with the “Special Sound Edition” at 10,260 yen.

Sega has two games from the Shining series in development. Blade Arcus from Shining, an upcoming 2D fighter with heroes and heroines from Sega’s long running Shining series is testing an arcades. According to the magazine report, the characters of will be drawn by Shining series artist Tony Taka, and will be developed by Wild ARMs makers Media.Vision. Shining Resonance will feature a dragon as the protagonist, and will have the theme of “dragons and musical instruments”.

As far as the battle system goes, the details are pretty light but it’s reported that the field and battle sequences will also be done in a seamless fashion, and will have parties of up to four players. It will also emphasize on the use of instruments for various effects. Depending on who you have as the “center character,” there will be different effects, too.

A few days ago we reported about a teaser page opened by Gust and hinting to a new game. Today we finally learn what it was about: a new PS3 exclusive JRPG titled Ar Nosurge (it’s unclear if it’s a working title at the moment) directed by Ar Tonelico‘s director Akira Tsuchiya in collaboration with the character designers of the PS Vita Exclusive Ciel Nosurge Ntny and Flight Unit.

According to reports by Hachima Kiko and Remoon, the new JRPG will feature both “shopping and events” in the city and classic RPG exploration/battle in the fields outside. Combat will be a hybrid between turn based and action, with the heroine using song magic from behind protected by the hero standing in front.

The staff hasn’t been picked randomly, as the game will combine the systems of Ar Tonelico with the universe of Ciel Nosurge. It will also have online elements.

The main hero will be named Delta Rantanoir and will fight alongside humanoid machines named Ashes. The main heroine will be named Rashera Wakusei. The themes of the game will be “Coexistence by conflict”, “bonds”, “the ties between men and women” and “the ties between friends”. There will also be a system named “Geno Metric System” that will allow the player to look into the heart of characters through the dream world.

The game is scheduled for release in Japan on January the 30th for 7140 yen.

Due out on November 28, the game will be available in a 7,480 yen standard edition and 8,980 yen limited edition.

The game is the realization of a collaboration between B.B. Studios, who developed the old Super Robot Wars games, and BEC, which had a hand in a number of Gundam games. Unlike other Super Robot Wars games, it doesn’t have a story.

Infinite Battle uses a team battle system set on a 3D field where players can run about freely. The battle form varies by situation—it could be one-versus-three, two-versus-two, one-versus-one, etc. Attacks are simple: one button for fighting, one button for shooting, and another for a finishing move. Attack variations can be done by pressing other buttons together and using the d-pad, etc.

Confirmed mecha and pilots include:

Fairlion Type S (Latooni Subota)
Sladegelmir (Woden Ymir)
At Eisen Riese (Kyosuke Nanbu)

Super Heroine Chronicle plays like a traditional turn based strategy RPG where you move on a map and attack each turn The direction you attack can damage the battlefield and change the terrain. Characters have combination attacks too.

It sounds like Super Heroine Chronicle will have an amusing story since the setting takes place in a school in Akihabara that’s underneath a dome.
