Hi Sifus,

Situation: I'm deciding between getting a used 2012 BMW 3 series or 2012 A4 or Mercedes C200 (previous version-recond).

Both the BMW and Audi are around 2 years old, with ok milleage of up to 30k km.

Can assist in giving feedback and opinion on the above topic? especially on the maintenance part.

Bank Loans - Flexi, Semi-Flexi, Term or Islamic & MRTA/MLTA

Can sifus here enlighten me on the pros n cons of the above?

What I understand so far:

Flexi - means withdrawal anytime and can pump in more anytime as well. However the interest rate is higher, about BLR - 2.2, 2.3

Semi-flexi - don't really get it, something like notifying the bank for withdrawal or pumping in?

Term - normal monthly, cant take out or pump in more....good rates of -2.4, 2.45

Islamic - similar to term, i guess....

Any guidance, enlightenment?

Well, as a start, i'm just a normal salaried guy, with small own business which does not need much capital rolling, but buying the house for own stay, maybe 5-6 years before selling....

Also, advice on taking MRTA or MLTA?

I'm thinking of getting a unit there....now prices are shooting like crazy...easily hitting 500-520k for the 1293sq units....

Read about its management problems n lack of unifi....also any other issues which shud really be considered before buying Zen? Developer still in existence and ok?

Hi good people,

Really need your valuable input here. About myself first. I'm Chinese, a young and realtively poor engineer. Working in KL, living alone, etc.

Now, I'm sort of caught between 2 type of girls. One is an ex (or sort of ex) and one is a new girl i get to know closely lately.

The ex, she is a lawyer (sounds brainy) but she is almost an airhead, to be honest and no offence. English is so-so, attitude sometimes problematic, very vain (in terms of her makeup, cosmetics, etc), we are constantly at loggerheads with arguments and misunderstandings, the things going for her is her beauty, cuteness and she cares about me, while i'm quite used to her as well as comfortable with her.

The new girl is a dentist. She is a Dr afterall (really brainy), I can engage in good intellectual as well as philosophical conversations with her, good english, and quite understanding, i guess good attitude. Negatives about her, maybe she expects me to pay for everything, not so pretty, and abit on the heavy side. Attitude-wise, abit unsure cos sort of just gotta know her.

In a nutshell, i think i can summarise it this way....in the future......marry the pretty gal, get pretty kids, but maybe half intelligence only (from my side of the brain!)

While, marry the dentist, get really smart kids,but not so pretty kids....

So people in the house, what say you all?
