I'm going to build a new rig to replace my old rig. Currently I can't decide which processor should I go? C2Q 6600 or C2D E8400? Or should go higher Quare 9400 with 1066 DDR2 ram?

Here are the hardware going to build for my rig :

Radeon 4850
Corsair AT 650w
Cooler Master casing cm690
W.D 16mb 320gb HDD
Vista Ultimate 64bit

This PC going for daily use like surfing, photo editing, media center (streaming to Xbox360) and gaming wise not so important at the moment coz I more to gaming consoles but waiting for Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

So I would like to get an opinion from all the experts and sifus here. Please share your opinion to me . Thanks
