Is that possible for a guy break through friend zone and become a couple with his crush?

Here is my story.

I met this girl (Miss R) at our ex work place in 2014. She's a Malay mix Thai Chinese whilst I'm a pure Chinese. We joined same batch and became training buddy. At first, I wasn't really like her anti-social attitude during training/discussion because she wasn't being pro-active in discussion. Then, she was appointed by our trainer as a class captain. So she started to approach me about training course and preparation. It started to attract me with her gorgeous look and smart thinking. When time goes by, we're getting closer (although we had argument for twice) but good times did not last long.

She quit her job due to health condition and stressful working environment in call center. She moved back to JB alone where she used to stay there (She's a Klang people). I was so depressed after she left and thinking about my life without her. We still text each other and she told me had a boyfriend after few months. It is a colleague from her workplace and she planned to marry with this guy. That moment was like a knife stabbed into my heart and keeps bleeding. I texted her she will have my blessing and I will attend her wedding.

By end of July, I decided move to JB (mainly was trying to get her back but mission failed) and lived with my elder brother at Taman Molek. I searched for local job and the pay didn't actually met my standard so I moved back to KL and found a new job. When I reached JB, I went to her office and trying to give her a surprise. At the end i was the one surprised because her colleague told me she resigned. So i texted her and she told me she went back to KL for vacation.

After a while, i texted her how was the Bersih rally in JB and she told me she's no longer staying in JB and she had broke up with her ex. At first i was quite happy because she turned into single but sadness came later. I knew she must crying over the break up. She tried to avoid her ex look after her and changed mobile. I didn't really bother her much. Soon, she admitted into Pantai hospital for physio therapy. She asked me to visit her and I'm the only friend in KL visited so far (she tagged me as her bff at that moment). She told me about her engagement was cancelled because of her ex family disapproved their relationships and her ex doesn't even fight for her. P/S : She's an ophan and her parents passed away when she was a child. She only had her sister, brother in-law and nephews as family.

Last Thursday, I fetched her around in KL for job interview. We had late lunch in Chili's KLCC (I promised her to bring her over before) at windowed seat. So we were chatting about both relationship history and she said she will choose a Chinese as her partner for next time and Malay guys don't stand a chance. Apart of that, she started to ask me who is the girl I had a crush. I didn't really tell the whole story and I'm being no balls. I told her i will tell her next time. On road fetching her back to Klang, she asked me again about the earlier question and made me panic. She's been questioning which left me no option to confess (my instinct told me if I don't do it, I will regret).

She was shocked and ask me few questions.

Miss R : Since when you liked me?
Me : Last year
Miss R : But I'm older than you 2 years old
Me : I even loved someone who's older than me 7 years. 2 years is nothing for me
Miss R : Will your parents against you for dating a Malay girl?
Me : I don't care about my parents. Eventually my partner who'll be the live with me for rest of my life. Remember I asked you a question before, will you accept a non Muslim who doesn't want to convert as your husband.
Miss R : Yeah
Me : At first I was struggle for conversion but it doesn't matter for me. My actions define who I am, not my name. Also, I went to JB mainly because of you.

We reached AEON Bukit Tinggi and she was going to meet her family. She told me to be cool and we'll meet up again. I was muka paranoid and smiled to her. I was thinking this could be last time we meet. She texted me to find out whether I'm driving safe. After a while i talked to my buddies and tell them how screwed i am. Buddies just comfort me to chill and be a gentleman. If she doesn't accept me and ask me to move on.

So now I'm in a chilling stage. Do you guys think I stand a chance?
