Repair iPad pro '18 or buy new iPad air or mini

So I have been having this iPad pro '18 11in for almost 2 years with 512gb storage...
I use it for note taking at work, microsoft team, outlook, watching video, editing video from my insta360 and gopro
Editing photo from my dslr... playing game... listening to apple music... watching youtube
and everything.. you name it...

I'm very deep into apple eco system... mac m1, old iMac, iphone 13 pro, AW7, airpod pro,
appletv, homepod and very long list... recently into homekit...

So here my dilemma... my iPad pro develop a problem and no more warranty... parts of the
screen are no longer responsive... note taking is no longer possible with apple pencil...there are
2 stripes about 1 cm wide that are not responsive to touch....

I did inquire about repair cost... screen replacement almost RM2k... and I'm considering options

Repair the ipad pro or buying new ipad air or the new ipad mini but too many things to consider...

the old ipad pro is nice screen... 120Hz.. watching youtube and playing games is nice... can you notice the difference on
60Hz screen???

Limitation of storage on the ipad air and mini.... my old ipad pro has 512gb.. even though I haven't cross 200gb yet... I
subscribe to apple 2TB icloud...

[COLOR=red]Processor.. I notice that my old iPad pro only using A12Z or something... the air and even the mini are using A15...

Budget... Hmm.. I'm willing to spend 3k..

So need opinion... from all otai2 apple user here... help for the insight really appreciated.

Hi all sifu,

My 3 year old Kenwood 7330BT breakdown again for the second time and I give up in repairing as it is very costly
and not guaranteed to be good for at least a year. The last time it is repaired is just 4~5 months ago and cost me
almost rm700 to repair it.

Since I'm not keen to have Kenwood again, I'm looking to test other brand like Pioneer and JVC or others. I normally
played out music from my iPhone library and would love to have apple carplay or mirror capability of this ICE. I don't need GPS navigation as I love Waze and would like it to be displayed on my car audio display.

I browse Pioneer Malaysia page but it is not really that user friendly in term of looking for this capability.

Hi,

I've been a Maxis user for maybe 10-12 years until I ported to Celcom and then now with Umobile...

I've been away from Maxis since 4 years ago. My main problem back then was so many surprise charges
whenever I got my monthly bill. There were always unexplained charges here and there. So after being
faithful for a decade, I decided to try others...

I'm quite happy with Umobile because the billing is very clear and there have never been any surprise charges.

However, there is always coverage issue.... so I'm thinking of moving back to Maxis since telcos WW2 now
driving their price down also...

any advise sifus?

Hi,

I've been noticing that my iPad 2 has slow loading when connecting to the internet. I just moved to a new house, thus I re-located my whole Unifi installation to the new rented house. All other internet wifi equipment like iPhone, iMac, ATV3 have no such problem...

Whenever, I went back to my hometown where I got streamyx connection, my iPad behaves nicely and load quickly. I've been googling and saw some solution by disabling QoS in router. But I cannot find way on how to do that in my DIR-615 router.

I just quit my job and therefore, I deleted my work Microsoft Exchange Email in my iphone. Unfortunately, all my contacts in that particular group are gone.

Now, I haven't deleted the email in my ipad. I still got all the contacts in my ipad. How to move all my contact from Microsoft exchange email to iCloud group?

Hi,

Bought Acer aspire 4750 that pre-installed with Linpus. I was given ori Window 7 starter as a free gift. When I tried to installed, found that the hardisk already partitioned into 2 part. First one is 250GB with linpus on it and 0 free space.
Second is 250GB with nothing in it.

The problem is I cannot reformat the first partition and install win7 on it. I was frustrated and finally decided to install win7 on the 2nd partition and done it.

The problem now, everytime I reboot, the notebook will directly go to win7 and my 1st partition is nowhere to be found. I am left with 250GB only instead of 500 GB. I don't how to make it go to linpus in order for my to try to uninstall it.

Please help.

I'm not mechanical guy. Bought this car brand new. Since the beginning always pulling left. Sent for alignment and always results the same.

Now that I'm not upgrading, I want to spend some money for the old car. I want to change new tire, absorber, brakes. At the same time, want solve the long time problem. Also I moved to JB and drive the old car weekly to KL.

Any ideas sifu?? Is it something to do with the steering rack?

I'm new to apple... just got my 1st apple product last month. An iMac.. but starts to fall in love with it... one concept that I'm still having difficulties grasping is apple wireless network. I see that apple offers airport express base station, airport extreme and time capsule.

I like the idea of having a shared printer and streaming a music to a set of speaker in another room. Also ability to access external HDD wirelessly.

I understand that only airport express can stream music to a speaker.. the other 2 cannot... What if:

If I buy the airport express base station and connect the usb slot to an external HDD. Can I used that external HDD as if it is a time capsule? Or is it better to buy time capsule?

p/s: I have Unifi BB and I'm the only user. I use my mac mainly for photo and video editing in adobe cs5 and FCP.

Is this possible? I clean installed vista home premium 64bit after installing 2x2GB RAM on my laptop. In the beginning, everything is ok, both (window welcome center and task manager detect all 4GB). But after few days (installing back everthing) I notice my sidebar gadget only detect only 3GB...

how can I regain my 4GB? Help

Hope forumers can help me here... I'm using Dell studio 1555 now. I use it mostly for my photo and video editing. One thing that I think will surely help me
now is bigger screen. For my editing work, I don't like LED backlight display. It gaves somehow cooler temperature color... so I would like to stick to LCD..

I'm thinking of 24 inch now. If possible got HDMI input because my Studio 15 got this connector.

Well, just bear with me... I'm very frustrated and just want to vent my anger...

I've been subscribing to Screamix for some 4~5 years.... only problem was during early setup back then... (another angry experience...)
After that everything was OK...

Early November, I moved to another house, just 500m away in the same Taman... to be accurate, I'm living in Bandar tasek kesuma, Beranang near Semenyih. Big housing estate and should be no problem for TMnut...

I applied for transfer... and they took my application and days later, TMnut called me. Sorry sir, there is no phone line available for your house.... What???? What the heck... I can see few wireless signal from my neighbors who are using Screamyx...

I call them, wrote email to them... and as usual... quiet.. endlessly and I'm very frustrated.... I'm a heavy user... my connection is shared wirelessly with my wife and 3 children... I got 4 pc connected at home....

I know there are others like Celcom and Maxis but signal coverage can be said as poor.... What can I do????
