People, does your company provide microwave and fridge in the office pantry area ?

If so

should it be norm that a notice be place
or even by word of mouth
or even be socially acceptable to have the initial intention
to put non-halal food in it in the first place ?

even if these appliances are purchase by individuals who want to share but tell users to close the lid properly or clean up after every use will be acceptable ?

1.a portable FM/AM radio with the strongest receiver that is available in the Malaysian market ? i do some painting painting in the basement but unable to get a clear radio channel for the BFM station
2.and a high end CD player to replace by Marantz 6006 ?

Indonesia probes orang utan shot 130 times

JAKARTA: A critically endangered Borneo orang utan shot to death in Indonesia took 130 bullets from an air rifle, in addition to cuts and bruises, an official of a wildlife group said.

Indonesia has vast swathes of palm or coffee plantations growing on deforested land, and the year’s second such killing is the latest in a series officials often blame on plantation workers and farmers who encounter wildlife on their property.

“It had been blinded,” said Ramadhani, a habitat protection manager with the Center for Orangutan Protection, which made an X-ray examination of the dead animal.

“We found 74 air rifle bullets lodged just in its head,” added Ramadhani, who uses only one name, like many Indonesians.

Police said they were investigating the killing and the perpetrators could face jail for up to five years.

Police have arrested and charged two men in last month’s discovery of an orang utan shot and decapitated in the neighbouring province of Central Kalimantan. The suspects claim self-defence. — Reuters

Anyone here is currently being employed by them ? or have worked there recently in the past few months or so ?
Mind share your experiences ?

How is their management, HRD, work life, working conditions etc ... any complaints or issues ?
What benefits i.e. medical, annual leave you have etc ..

I got an offer working there in the office side of things not the actual production division

It will be an automated call saying you have outstanding bank loan with Hong Leong Bank, press 5 to speak to a customer support staff.

After connecting to a "the staff"
Right off the bat they will ask you for Name and IC,
straight away says you have a loan with the bank and is past due for 3 months.

Bodoh me I actually gave them my full name and IC but then notice something is amidst when

1. so fast can connect meh, usually banks have a dozen options for you to go through
2. they didn't ask for verification information after giving your name and IC
3. banks usually identify by accounts and rarely use IC unless for verification

so when the staff told me i have outstanding loan created in Hong Leong Perak branch, i quickly told her I'm not even in Malaysia and the IC i gave was an overseas ic and i'm not even Malaysian. then she begin to stammer and says maybe there is a mistake and hang up. Well i dont think RM100k in outstanding is a mistake.

I have a SONY HDR-SR11 with a LCD touchscreen with the touch function not working anymore.

Able to recommend a decent place to get it replaced ?

Tried SONY they want RM1200 for it which i think is redonkulus just for the LCD touch screen

WTA::Where to repair SONY Camcorder

Hey

WTA::Anyone knows where to replace LCD panel of a SONY HDR-SR11 Camcorder in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor at a reasonable price ?

Background story if you interested:
Went to SONY KLCC yesterday, paid RM50 (non refundable, but can be used as part of repair fee) and check parts available.
I asked the SONY personnel if more then RM1k, he say should not be

Today received call from their actual repair personnel, she says to replace the LCD panel which is the about 3.5" in diameter costs RM1,200 !!!!!!! and warranty 3 months only.
Saw on ebay the "AAA" quality LCD around RM200 plus shipping. I can buy at least 4x with labour costs

Moral of the story:
1. If you have a SONY product and after warranty, please just dispose of it properly the parts costs itself are ......... really speechless
2. Unsure about other SONY repair stores. But in Malaysia they like to earn your RM50. This is not the first time got played. 2x before with a PS3 and SONY headphones. PS3 says Power supply spoil and part cost RM1100 and 3 months warranty. Headphones one of the drivers spoil and cost RM600. I was like WTF the headphones brand new is only 400 and you charge RM600 for parts alone. The bugger even laugh at me.
3. I think it is a SONY policy to quote super ridiculous parts prices to force the owner to deny the repairs and buta buta earn the RM50

Basically my boss order some stuff from them and want them to come and install but unable to contact their shop or any of their sales team.

Got a decent game in yesterday with Timbersaw but the ending is a kicker

Basically towards the end we were losing and this "player" who uses a viper has only 2 item for the entire game,
Boots of travel and demon edge

After finally saving up and got a DR.

As soon as i type dont lose it the "player" went and got himself killed near our base

I think the opposing team has no free slots left and the DR just sit there for the entire skirmish until the opposing team retreated.

Then comes along our team mate and pockets the DR

Then the kicker literally kicks in . The "player" by my guess is just a kid (maybe around 5 to 7)
after he saw the team mate pockets it he turns on the mic and begs the team mate to return it and just keeps following the team mate (well i guess its a good strat)

anyhows the team mate got killed and for the 2nd time the DR was left on the floor without anyone picking it up
as the kid keeps whining and pleading over the mic (like a 5 to 7 yo). very cute i'd say

at the end he just said f*** you all and disconnect

p.s . anyone know if the system record the mic inputs during play for playback. i want to keep this game for my archive
