Phone number being exposed/compromised

hi guys, i have the below situation, and would like to ask if there is anything i can do to preserve my phone number.

It has been more than a year where many property agents, loan sharks etc calling/texting/whatsapp my number to offer their service.
They have been telling me I clicked and provided my data/phone via their FB ads - which i never did.
These agents even able to name my full name!
It has been annoying as the amount of these call could up to 30-40 calls a day!

Lately, it has been getting more serious where i receive Lazada, shopee / tngo ewallet OTP, which i never trigger/initiate, and for sure, i never share those OTP with anyone.
I am suspecting these fella is trying to log into lazada account via phone number? which I never tied it with my phone number.

I have spoken to my telco, and they suggested me to change my phone number since my privacy seems to be compromised.
However, changing phone number is my last resort as I have been using the same number for years and it will be quite a hassle to change all my related accounts phone number.

Do you guys experience this before? How you guys solve this problem?

i just got my wira a recon gearbox after my previous one kong.
now this gearbox is giving me headache again.
when i got my car back from the garage, each of the gear need to rev till 4k only change to the next one.
then i ask the mechanic to adjust for me.
but after adjusted, now the gear 1 still need to rev till 4k only change to next gear, and it straight jump into gear 3. omitted the gear 2.
the mechanic adjusted the cable which is connected with the accelerator cable for few times, but problem still there.
and he getting black face ady.
so what can i do with this?

Asus laptop lcd wont turn off when close the lid

as mention at topic...my laptop monitor wont turn off when i close down the lid.
i set the power management to off the display after 1 min..it could do so..
then i try another way and set the laptop to sleep when i close the lid..it goes sleep after i close the lid..
so there has no hardware faulty on the lid closing sensor.
then..where is the problem now?
this problem just started after i change my OS to win7 from vista..

summore now the warranty was over..
thinking to bring to SonyEricsson authorised service center to repair..
is it possible?
i'll go to the service center at berjaya plaza.

i accidentally safety removed my card reader after i read my memory card and now i cant use my memory card reader anymore although i slot in my memory card.
i'm using asus m51vr

ext harddisk infected by virus

i think this situation happen on many thumbdrives when plug into other people's computer which was infected by virus.
the virus will cause you unable to open the drive by clicking from the my computer and need to click from the address bar.
normally we will just format the drive and then all viruses will gone..
but this is my external harddisk(160GB) and my harddisk in my laptop is just 40GB.
i have no space to store those files in my ext harddisk.
now i have deleted the virus but still cant straight open the drive.
so, is there anyway to remove the problem?

my unit is just about some years old..but rarely use(just sometimes watch movie and listen radio/CD). it bought on the very end of dec 2004. but it had been send back to factory for 2 times.
1st time is right after one year. the main unit(player) cant read CD. after sent to factory, it's saved and can function normally.
but just last month, my main unit(the player) can turn on but cant use(cant do anything!) ...=.="
then i send it to the dealer and ask them to send for repair..
and something terrible happened.
after few weeks, the dealer phone me and told me that my unit cant repair anymore as the factory had stop produce this model of HT and cant find the spare part to fix my player...and he tell me that one of the electronic board in my player is burst!!ohh...god..
so..what u guys think to save my HT back?
any ways or suggestion on this situation?

how can i set it to online as i have to click on the streamyx icon in the network connection leh? coz last time i used the prolink, i can jz simply delete my account name,password and save only to make it online manually. but for this D link router modem i duno how to set it. any 1 can hlp me ah
