How to load DLL in Eclipse RCP

Hey all,

I have this Eclipse RCP project and I want to load my own DLL to use the functions provided but I can't seem to get to invoke the functions

This is what I have done so far
1. I have the JNI Java File in a package (the one with the native calls and the system.load.library call)
2. The DLL file i put in the root of the project folder.
3. I have modified the Manifest file to include the Bundle-NativeCode installation as follow:

Bundle-NativeCode: nativelibs/libforwindows.dll; osname=WindowsXP; processor=x86

4. Then I have this Java file and I create an object of the JNI class to invoke the DLL functions but when I run nothing happen

Any steps that I missed? I believe in Eclipse RCP the way to load the dll is somewhat different from how to do it in normal Java but

Hi all

I have an Eclipse RCP Project and I want to connect it to MySQL Database.
I already have a class to create the connection.
Can anyone tell me where to put the the code to create the object of the connectivity class?
I tried putting it in the View class but some java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error occured.
I also have set the classpath to the JDBC Driver.

Please help. Thank you.

How to pass session object to child frame

Hi all, I'm currently doing some ASP pages which invoke functions from an ActiveX DLL.
I have created an object from the ActiveX DLL and I use Session to share the object among the pages, and there's no problem so far. Example code in the login page is like this:

Set session("obj")= server.CreateObject("XYZ.Client")
Set Client = session("obj")

Client.Connect()

Then for each page after this, I use the session object to invoke later functions in the ActiveX DLL.

But then, I have this page with iframe in it. I try to invoke the functions in the ActiveX DLL from the iframe pages (child frame) but got error. The error says, "unknown command".

I think, the object is not passed to the child frame from the parent page, thus resulting the "unknown command" error because the page cannot find the ActiveX DLL object. How do I resolve this? Is there any way to pass session variable from parent frame to child frame?
