Hi guys, my father's hotlink account is having a problem. He didn't called out or texted the numbers such as 100, digi central, maxis, etc. Why he's being charged for it? Checked the call logs, the numbers are not in it. It happens for many days already and lost few ten bucks for this "scam".

He complains whenever he topped up RM10 in the morning, then make 1 or 2 short calls or few SMS, the RM10 just dissappeared. When checking the e-statement, it shows what is in the attachments.

Kindly advise a solution.

car engine almost shutdown during pickup or stop

Dear all,

Can anyone advise on the symptom that is causing with my kembara dvvt manual?

- Engine almost shutdown during pick up or slow down on traffic light.
- No engine-error warning light
- No battery light blinking, should be in good condition. Foreman also checked said battery okay.
- If you insist on accelerate despite the engine tries to shut down, it still moves and until the speed grows it will not shut down.
- It does not happen every time but once in awhile.

The foreman checked with a device and told the timing sensor problem. He retuned / reset it, paid rm50. the problem still occured. after that, car could not start. the head of the battery spoilt. the head was burnt became like white harden plaster ceiling paste. then change it to new 1. after 1 week, pink color thing grows on it. something like plaster paste also. the shutting down symptom still occurs. when the car is running or stopping, you can hear the "tak" sound from front, like the power is not enough or what. the front light will dim for a second.

is it sensor or alternator problem?

any recommended or trusted, reasonable and professional service centre around dengkil or equine park, SK, i stay in Cyberjaya? at first i thought of going back hometown to fix it but i scared the problem goes worst on the highway.

Knowledge on Engine Oil

Hi guys, after some readings from the Google searches. I'm still not so understand about the types and suitable engine oil to use on different type of cars.

I'm driving a Kembara DVVT 1.3. Can I use H-Tech 100 Plus 5w30 Fully Synthetic? How long (KM) it can run?

As I know, engine oil has fully synthetic, semi synthetic and mineral oil. Does it means fully synthetic better quality than semi and mineral? Do i need to take concern of the viscosity and SAE ratings? Like 5W-30 is better than 10W-40? Type of engine oil is depending on the power of your car right? Like maybe 1.6 use this type or 2.0 use that type? How do you know/define the mileage it can run? For example: 10W-40. You change it after 5000KM or 7000KM? Please add more if you know more.

Sorry for asking so many question in 1 time. I just want to learn to take care of my car.
