SOHO - Cyber - Looking for Advice/Contacts Needed

Hi all masters! I bought a SOHO at cyberjaya for own stay and it just got VP.
Before moving in, I would like to do some minor renovation. No wall hacking etc.
I'm a little tight on budget so I can't afford the service of interior designer/middle man.

However, I am planning to engage with people/company who can provide me these services.
Please recommend me some contacts. I found lots of contacts online but I am worry about getting slaughter and the reliability.

1. Tempered glass for bathroom.
2. Plaster ceiling and wiring
3. Big mirror in bathroom and backlight
4. Partition wall with sliding door (to separate the unit)
5. Cabinets (Shoe rack, wardrobe, study tables with drawers and rack, kitchen island with seating)

I attached herewith my floor plan. 510sq ft SOHO

[attachmentid=7197878]

Last but not least. I wanna do a wooden raised platform like this.
But I am not sure to engage with a cabinet specialized person or a flooring company?
Please advice.

[attachmentid=7197951]

Why man must pay dowry

Why must man pay dowry (mas kahwin) to the girl's family?
I am a chinese woman myself but I don't understand this.

There are 2 possible situation here.

1. Let's say the husband's family is super rich, but why should the guy family pay dowry. It's not like they are selling the daughter.

2. Let's say the husband's family is poor, so chances is that the husband has to work really hard, save money or get loan from bank etc to pay dowry. Then after paying dowry, the husband and wife have to work their ass off to clear the debt while the girl's parents take the money and give it to their son.

Worst case is neighbours/aunties/uncles around will start discussing/comparing with each other how "profitable" their daughter is by comparing the dowry they received. I really hate this.

There is once I told my mother I want to get married, maybe in 2 or 3 years time. The next question popping out from her is how much dowry can my bf afford. (in a jokingly way) And I feel really annoyed by this.

You want me to put myself into my mother's shoe. If I have a daughter, all I want his her happiness and I don't want a single cent from her husband as long as he can promise to take care and love my daughter eternally.
