Suggestion to upgrade PC

Hi Guys,

Need suggestion to upgrade my Rig.

Here are the specs:

Processor : Intel Core i5 760 2.80 GHz
Motherboard : Intel P7H55
Graphic Card : nvidia geforce gtx 460 1GB GDDR5
Memory : 8GB DDR3

Quite old PC, about 6 years i guess. Is it possible to upgrade the components instead of purchasing a new RIG?

Mainly games are just Dota2 and PubG.

Getting GPS coords

Anyone have any idea on how to get coordinates from a GPS enabled phone and send it to my own website hosted on IIS 7 which will then stored into the database ?

I'm trying to create a system which will read coordinates from the database and then display them on google map. Can anyone kind enough to give me some guidance on this matter please ?

Hi guys, anyone knows a method to upload my asp.net website project and mysql database on the internet ?

Preferably free web site hosting with limited bandwidth will do. Anyone have any suggestion on which free hosting website that could allow me to upload my own website onto their free web hosting server ?

Hello all,

I need some help and guidance in my project work.

How do I access the database and retrieve records from there on ASP.NET vb ?

I would like to access the database using the design view where item such as textbox, tables, and label's coding are located at. Not accessing it from code behind page such as page_load and button_click_event there. Can you please provide some coding examples to enlighten me up.

And also how do we retrieve the data and store it in, lets say labels or textbox ? I would want to retrieve a list of data from the database table. I really need some help here for my project to proceed..Please advice me.

Need help with VB GPS tracking

Hello all, I wanna ask if is it possible to user VB to make a GPS tracking system? I need some guidelines to start my work. What kind of resources that i need to begin with ?

I am thinking of creating a web-based interface where users can view the location of the moving vehicle on the map. Most probably will be using Google map interface.

I personally have a Garmin GPS. Is it possible for me to use this device as a tracking device and sends the coordinate to my webpage ? Any extra function that i need to enable this type of connections ? I've done some research in the forum where i saw some related projects using phone with GPS enabled to send SMS via GPRS/GSM or something like that. Is there any requirement for me to set up this connection between them using COM port? What's the average budgets to get all of this devices or tools ?

I've done some googling and i'm still stuck and quite blur so i don't really how to get my project to start with. Please give some advice and comments to help enlighten me up.
