New mobo + cpu, gaming crash after few hours

Problem : Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Early this month I upgrade from AMD mobo+cpu to Intel mobo+cpu. On previous AMD setup, everything seems stable can't even remember if I ever got this kind of issue. But now on new Intel setup, my game keep crashing after about 1.5 hours of playing.
After some GPU tweak I can play game longer but eventually it will crash.
Wanted to try and play more with the BIOS but I'm not even sure what I should change.

What I've tried :

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Stress test CPU for 3 hours, all ok

Memtest, 4 pass, no error

Set tdrdelay to 10

On some game, the game graphics will recover after few seconds of black screen. Doesn't solve anything though.

Lowering GPU Core Clock & Memory Clock

On stock clock I ran 3Dmark on loop and crash after 2+ hours.
Using Afterburner, I reduced both clock -100. I can run 3Dmark on loop for 3 hours. No crash, manually stop the test. And then I played Far Cry 3, after passing 3+ hours mark TDR occur again.
What I can see is the voltage graph seems like more stable during underclocking.

I know that GPU has their own performance level state. But how does it works when I set on NVIDIA panel "Prefer Maximum Performance"? Because right now, when writing all these post, my GPU clock running a full speed (Core 1032MHz, Memory 3004MHz) and voltage stable at 1.037v. There's no other "3D application" running, only notepad, Chrome and Afterburner. But if you check the graph posted on screenshot section below, after the TDR occur, the clock and voltage are down to what I assume the "2D desktop" performance level. Is this a bug or work as intended?

Manually set PCI-EX16_1 Link Speed to Gen2 (PCIe 2.0), default is Auto.

This somehow delayed the TDR, for about an hour. Tested on GPU stock clock.

Update to latest & Downgrade Nvidia driver

Downgrade to any other 347.xx doesn't make any different.

Doesn't seem to affect anything :

Clean install Windows

Disable any kind of power saving feature that I know

Disable Intel SpeedStep

Disable Intel Turbo

Disconnect any unused USB device

Manually set DRAM Frequency to DDR3-1333MHz

Re-apply thermal paste and re-seat both GPU and CPU

Planning to try later :

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Today will test driver 344.xx

Change to the 2nd GPU lane.

Assume PSU already old and faulty, buy new PSU T__T

Assume GPU faulty, buy new GPU? T_____T I think still got 1 year warranty left.

Last resort : try RMA mobo

Temperature on load :

GPU always around 65-70c.

CPU always around 70-75c.

Screenshot and dumpfile :

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Not sure if these screenshots can give any hints. The spike and drop might be because of TDR, or was it the cause of TDR?
Belkin modem router + TPLink universal repeater

Personal equipment
> BELKIN F5D7632ak4A ADSL2+ Modem with wireless G router (192.168.2.1 Gateway) @front : living room
> TPLink AP TL-WA901ND 2.0 (192.168.2.254 static IP) @kitchen : center of the house
> My PC + Wireless adapter TPLink TL-WN7200ND (192.168.2.50 static IP) @the back of the house

Problem details
Last week I bought TPLink TL-WA901ND AP to extend my Belkin wireless range. My Belkin doesn't support WDS so I need to set TPLink AP to 'Universal Repeater' mode.

Problem :
Since day one, I can't get stable connection to TPLink AP eventhough the signal is excellent. My Belkin SSID is WAR107. So, at TPLink Wireless Utility, the software detect 2 WAR107 SSID, one with low signal from Belkin, and the other is great signal from TPLink AP in universal repeater mode.

So I choose to connect to the TPLink AP because the signal is much better. But the problem is, sometimes while connected to TPLink AP, my connection suddenly change to the lower signal (Belkin).

Troubleshooting :
I already change my wireless adapter on my computer, currently using TPLink TL-WN7200ND and also tested on my old wireless adapter CNET CWP-854, both adapter having the same problem.

When the problem occur, I still can access TPLink management page at 192.168.2.254

I check TPLink AP temperature, it's a bit warm so I don't think it's overheat..

I already update the TPLink AP firmware which is available at TPLink website, but the problem still occur.**

Before this I just test on my pc, but right now I put a laptop right below the place where I put the TPLink AP and connected to TPLink AP.. <s>Want to look what happen to the laptop connection if my connection suddenly change connection to Belkin SSID. It will take some time though..</s> UPDATE : Last night testing got no problem.. But Right now I switch on both laptop and PC from my room.. I connect the laptop 1st, from the IP (DHCP IP range 192.168.2.51-60) and signal, the laptop connected through TPLink AP, but few minutes later, the connection disconnected and now the signal is slow.. cannot access 192.168.2.254, but LED indicator seems normal where everything should be working.. on my desktop PC, I change from static to dynamic IP.. when I check on my PC, there's only one WAR107 and right now I'm connected direct to my Belkin (DHCP IP range 192.168.2.2-15).. And while typing this updates, the full bar signal reappear, both laptop and PC automatically reconnected to the good signal and acquire new IP range set by TPLink AP..

So, help me :
Guide me to determine either my TPLink TL-WA901ND is somehow faulty or not?
Is there any way to connect to TPLink AP using MAC address instead of using SSID? coz I think that will solve my problem..

**Before update the firmware, I found a trick to change TPLink SSID so that I can give different name such as WAR107_ext to avoid confusion. I switch to Access Point mode and put the SSID name that I want. Save and later change back to 'Universal Repeater' mode. But after update the firmware I can't do it anymore. Now my TPLink SSID will always the same as my Belkin SSID. I choose to update because at that time also I can't get stable connection to the TPLink AP.
All SATA not detected after wake up from hibernate

Hi guys

I just upgraded my PC last Friday.. Phenom II x4 proc + ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO mobo

And about 3pm yesterday, I've put my PC into hibernate mode.. as I don't have any problem on my previous Biostar mobo, I'm not expecting any problem on this new mobo.. but right after my PC back from hibernate, I feel that my Win7 abit unresponsive, so I've decide to Restart, but instead of clicking Restart, I accidentally click Shutdown.. It shouldn't be a prob though..

But after switch back on, I've noticed that my Win7 does not detect all my 4 SATA HDD.. so I restart my PC and check on BIOS.. even BIOS didn't detect all of my SATA HDD..

So I've done some troubleshooting :
1. Connect my SATA HDD to HDD-to-USB adapter - can detect HDD : no prob with HDD
2. Using my PSU cable as SATA power, but use USB from the same adapter - can detect HDD : no prob with my PSU (corsair 750W)
3. Change to my spare SATA cable - HDD still not detected : no problem with my old sata cable, even extra cable still not detected
4. Update to latest BIOS - HDD still not detected : faulty mobo?

So just now I Google about this problem, there's quite alot of problem with SATA + hibernate + Win7.. BUT, Microsoft already release the update to fix this problem.. I'm not sure which update, but I've already update my Win7 right after reinstall OS last Friday... and from all of the search result, the problem (Win7 not detect SATA) only occur after wake up from hibernate; restart PC will fix the problem.. But in my case, it doesn't even detected on BIOS

So, any experience with this kind of problem?
any suggestion for further troubleshooting?
maybe I should just send it back to the shop.... >__> normally, faulty hardware can get change 1 on 1 if purchase within a week, right?

UPDATE : problem also occur after shutdown...

AVR cause blackout

Hello

I'm planning to get AVR.. since nowadays some UPS already got built-in AVR, so I think I'll just get UPS.. but there's a one thing that bugged me..

Few years ago I've tried to use AVR at my house.. the AVR plug connected directly to the power outlet.. and no hardware connected to the AVR while testing.. everytime I switch on the AVR, my house will blackout.. I don't think it's faulty AVR because already tested during purchase.. so after that I give it to my brother to do a test at his house.. it works for a while but after he use it for few days, same things happen to his house, blackout when switch on the AVR..

What actually happen? does the AVR faulty? or it's a sign for bad circuit in my house or overloaded or something ? Coz I wonder if this will happen again if I buy UPS later on...
