HL110W Starter Kit

Just got my Aztech HL110W Starter Kit today which featuring one HL110E HomePlug AV Ethernet Adaptor and one HL110EW HomePlus AV Wireless-N Extender.

I bought it mainly to stream full HD movies from my network shared folder to my MacMini at living area connected to my LCD TV.

Plug HL110E nearest power plug and LAN connection to Gigabits switch at first floor. Plug HL110EW to nearest power plug to MacMini.

Tested a few 1080P movies without any problem. Previously watching 1080P movies with 802.11G AP is not possible.

HL110EW's 802.11N is quite impressive too. Tested watching 1080p movies at Macmini while surfing net via my notebook connected to its 802.11N wirelessly, without a single problem.

Overall I'm very happy with this homeplug.

Oh I got it from a perfect trader - hikari85. Contact her if you would like to get it.

Alternative Wireless Keyboard & Mouse for Mac

I bought a Mac Mini Core 2 Duo. Which yea, of course, doesn't include a keyboard nor a mouse.

At the time I bought it, new bluetooth wirelss apple keyboard is not available in Penang yet. Getting Apple wireless keyboard + wireless mighty mouse will cost you more than RM500.

I have got myself a relatively nice Logitech Cordless Desktop(R) S530 Laser for Mac(R) So far in the market, there ain't many good wireless keyboard & mouse available for Mac. Yes, Microsoft does have one, but I'm not particularly a MS fan.

Usability is great, keyboard is very sleek and thin, keypad typing experience is greater than normal logitech keyboard; the wireless laser mouse is great at most surface. They are very responsive. Installation is at ease, remember to download the latest driver from logitech website (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/158&cl=hk,en).

Logitech website http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboard...es/158&cl=hk,en
Review site http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/03/09/re..._logitech_s530/

Price range is around RM300
