Best Long-range Wireless USB adapter?

Hi all,
I'm currently on a Linksys AE2500 wireless usb adapter but my router is in a different room.
Am on TIME's 100mbps fiber optic internet.

Sadly quite unstable with the speed going up and down from 100~300mbps.. plugged it into 3.0 USB, didn't help much.

Was wondering what's the Best wireless USB adapter with antenna that would help with this issue?

Using a long LAN cable along the walls (and over door frames) to router is probably not a good idea..

Thanks, ya..

Hey guys, I need some help.

I'm suffering from lags in online games because of my sister or my dad just surfing the web.
I think its stupid how a simple web page and cause my ping to shoot up to 500 ping in some games so I need some help in choosing a gaming router with good bandwidth management..

Basically I just want a router that can control the bandwidth so that downloads/youtubing/torrenting/webpage loading on their PC's will be throttled for my game to get the right amount of bandwidth it requires for a stable ping.

I'm looking for D-link DGL-4500, but I don't think its sold in Malaysia...... I've been using D-link for a very long time, so I can kinda trust their products better.

If there is a better gaming router around that is not D-link, please do tell anyway!

[SOLVED] Innacomm W3100 Port Forwarding help..

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx Unipack 1mb package
Location: Bandar Sunway, PJ, Selangor.
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: No.

Personal equipment
Modem: Innacomm W3100 ADSL2+ Wireless Modem from TM
Router: -
Firewall used: No

Problem details
First occurence of problem:
Problem frequency:
Problem description: Port forwarding issues..

Hi all, I recently just got this modem router from Streamyx - I must say it has the most unfriendly and ancient interface I have ever seen (My previous router model was D-link, but can't use it now coz of "personal" issues)..
Now I just wanna do a very simple Port Forward on port 9001. I found the "IP Port/Filter" on the router admin settings (192.168.1.1), and painfully input in the port range 9000 ~ 9100 (For both Outgoing & Incoming, UDP and TCP for each..Stupid Innacomm Modem forces me to input them one by one..).
Problem is the port is still closed even after Modem reboot when I checked using an online Port Checker.

The computers in my house right now are as follows :
Desktop PC (Which is the PC where I want the ports to be forwarded.) - Is connected via WLAN since Router is in different room.
Laptop PC (No ports require forwarding here) - Is currently connected to Router using cable as the modem's settings page can't be accessed over WLAN..

Based on my experience on the previous D-link router, I could easily port forward via MAC address of a PC. But for this Innacomm modem, I had to input in a Source (src) and Destination (dst) IP of the PC..
So based on my ipconfig on my desktop PC, I used the IPv4 Address and input them both into the Source and Destination IP. Same for Source and Destination Subnet mask which I also retrieved through the ipconfig.

I was doing some googling earlier, found a tutorial on port forwarding on this trash, so another 2 additional steps I did were :
- Under "Virtual server" > 'DMZ Settings' > Enabled it and set DMZ Host IP Address to Desktop PC's Internal IP.
- Enabled "UPnP".

So after all this, I "Commit" the settings then reboot modem..
Went back to my desktop PC, used an online port checker.. and still tells me the port 9001 is closed.
I've searched around this forum as well but can't seem to find the solution to my issue.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Help, please?
Hopefully I don't have to go and buy another Router Modem.. >.>

UPDATE :
Got a good deal on a Linksys Modem Router. Case closed.
I'll go use the TM modem as a Door stopper for now.
