English Proficiency Index 2012

In a latest EF English Proficiency Index (EPI) published today, Malaysia is ranked 13th amongst 54 countries. It is noteworthy that four English-speaking countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada are exempted from ranking.

"Malaysia and Singapore, the highest proficiency countries in Asia, are examples of how English can be used to bridge linguistic divides between different
communities within the same country. In addition to ethnic Malays, both countries have large Chinese and Indian communities, each with its own traditions and language. English has long been a required subject for all pupils starting in primary school, where it is often the medium of instruction. English proficiency is tested at the end of primary school and again at the end of secondary school. In these countries, English is valued as a shared language across communities, not owned by any one of the three, as well as being an international medium of communication. "

Best university in UK to study Geology?

Since my friend doesn't have a LYN account, so I ask this question on behalf of my friend.
He is in the dilemma to choose between University of Leeds, UK and University of Leicester, UK. Of course, he got conditional offers from both the universities stated.
Is there anyone can give him some advices regarding to the said universities?

Q1. You are required to design a complete system which will enable you to find the highest value out of five input values.
Q2. You are required to design a complete system which will allow you to calculate the result of n raised to the power of p.

Anyone mind to teach me how to program these? I will be happy if you can write the actual programming code for me. Thanks first!

For the red coloured line, I found that if I type Minutes = Mid(Hours, 3, 2)....I can get the same result, which means when I debugged the programme, it turns the same result. So here's the question, which one is the correct code actually?

I had been told by Jusco and Senheng promoters that this TV is a new arrival from Sony.

Both of them offered the same price, which is RM1999.
There's one question here, is it worth to buy this TV at this point of time?
I normally use it to watch Astro(not Astro Byond, but maybe will subscribe in the future) and some downloaded HD movies....
