Salary Dillema

Hi,

I just receive a call on salary negotiation for this company that I come for 2nd interview last week.

Before that I just want to share a bit on my situation.

Currently I am working with MNC company with a 14 month salary (2 mth contractual bonus) and also entitle on Annual Performance Bonus which is normally pay somewhere next mth about 1-3 mth as average.

For example my monthly salary is 4k and total annual income will be 56k (14 mths) and in my expected salary on my resume is calculated 20% on my annual salary which is about 67k (average 5.6k per mth)

During the 1st and 2nd interview they are asking my mthly salary and I mentioned to them is 4k per mth and I receive another 2 mth cont bonus. They are arguing on my 5.6k expected salary and I mentioned to them also it was calculated 20% based on my total annual income but they are saying their company also got bonus which is for me is uncertain (performance bonus 2-3 mth) where currently I am also entitled to get here too. Then I left the interview with my lowest negotiable amount is about 5.4k.

Today their HR call and they are offering me at eg 4.6k (15% above my current mthly salary) and it was totally unacceptable since it was below my current annual income. I tell the HR I cannot accept the offer as I already talk about it during my 2nd interview and I believe the interviewer is aware on it. Then I inform the HR I can only accept the offer if they pay me around 5.4k ONLY.

Did my salary expectation is correct or too demanded or the HR is misunderstanding or just playing around to make me accept the offer.
