Hi, not sure if I can ask this Q here, but here goes:

Does anyone have experience sending parcels overseas? I am planning to send it by air to Australia (need it to reach by the end of the month - est. 4kg = RM90.60). It will take abt 2 weeks according to the post office personnel. Or, if there is any better options (in terms of rate/speed) that anyone can suggest? Thx smile.gif

Tyre pressure

Hi there,

The pressure of my car tyres (all 4 of them) usually decrease after ~2 weeks (from 29psi -> 26/27 psi). Is this normal? I've checked with the tyre shop, but there are no leaks.

FYI: My 2 front tyres are new, just changed them last December. As for the back ones, I changed the old front ones to the back, while the old back ones are discarded because they have worn out (do not think this affects the pressure though).

What is the normal duration to check for tyre pressure?

Expensive areas to live in

I would like to seek some opinions. For single working adults who are working in KL/Selangor, which are the more expensive areas to live in? as in terms of rent, transportation (how bad is the jam? parking rates, tol etc), food (rough prices).

I am applying for jobs in KL/Selangor area, so I want to survey a bit on the living costs beforehand.

At the same time, I am also wondering how will the career prospect be like. Oh, by the way, I graduated with a degree in Biology.

my camera always have problems with lens error (the lens unable to retract). also it is always out of focus (total blurred). tried using different mode, but still the same.

any1 with same experience while handling this camera or any others?

~6 yr old Iswara: Black oil level decreased

hi there,

Last Saturday, I decided to check the black oil level (although still have ~800km more to go before the next black oil change) and found out that the black oil dip level has decreased below half. Worried there might be a leakage, i sent it to the workshop yesterday. the person there said tat there's no leakage, but, need to change some things in the engine, s'thing like the 12valves inside the engine has hardened(?) and also 4pcs of bolts(?) not really sure what it meant. but he said that those r 'absorbing' the black oil. Need ~3hrs to change the things (but, bcos that time left 2hrs like tat so they didn't want to do it.. asked me to make appointment and come again next time)

Wondering if this kind of thing is normal? Any1 with similar experience?

Note: My ~6yr old Iswara has always been on regular maintenance.

I'm new here and would like to seek some advice as stated in the topic.

My bf just went to Australia last week for studies. For the time being, there's no accessibility of Internet at his place yet (not sure how long will this condition lasts). I would like to seek advice, on what's the best (and affordable as i'm still a student) way to call him? I've never made overseas calls before so I'm kinda lost.
