DigiDesign Mbox 2 Pro and IMAC 2011

i dont know where to post this on, so im gonna take a guess to put it here

i have bought a new IMAC I5 2011, i have Mbox 2 pro that i got it for almost 2 years now, i got it working with my Macbook Pro(mid2008, not the unibody one). i got a firewire 600 to 800 converter cable to hook it up to my IMAC , it works for the 1st 5minutes then it got disconnected and also even im using the external power adapter for it. i got the newest update of pro tools 8 from avid and also drivers but still fail

i heard there is many problem with the MBOX2 usb with the new IMACs

and i also heard this from a user from the avid forum

DO i really need to spend on PRO TOOLS 9? and the mbox 3rd generation?
or should i stop using pro tools and use logic or cubase instead ?

Im stuck beetween 550d and 60d, i have seen the specs they are both almost the same but in video wise its totally the same,
i have been told that 60d is a full frame and 550d is a crop frame is that true ? which one is your selection on both of this camera ? explain to ?

my friend and i was at the mobile phone fair in terminal 3, okay i decided to buy a phone , then got the cheapest rates that we could find, this guy raymond he sold my friend a used set and said it was new,

the story goes :

we found the store that we want to buy from, he talks alot its normal lah, salesman mah, okay he said about we Chinese guy must help each other that why he give me cheaper price, if its a malay he wont give u cheaper price he will say take or dont take its up to u i dont give a dam. i was like okay this guy is pretty Racist , cuz my best friend is a malay , so everything settles then he go take the set, we are all pretty happy that my friend got the phone, when we got back to the car we check that it has some indon kinda language messages in it , im starting to get curious, then we go back and ask him why is it like that?, he said maybe he let other ppl test. then he say sorry, he went and tooked another one, this time he deleted all the messages but then when we got back to the car. we notice that it has contacts in it , from there i knew it its a used set, hmmm we coulden do anything, my friend just haizz and just take it as he got rob, when we got back notice that a few probs with the phone , we are going to change it again tomoro

Today we went back there again, and change to a BETTER USED phone cause it has problems, okay when we when back there my friend act like he dont know anything and said it has problems. he like trying to be friends with us u know, asking how old, where u stay? where u guys come from? blah blah. he took a newer phone and it was the same its used but refurbish, and this time he smart abit he delete the contacts and sms .. but u can really there was a sim card inside for a very long time, and found the owner information again.Was pissed but what can we do learn from mistakes and share it to u guys and hope that u guys wont have the same fate as my friend

the booking of the studio is free but rental such as drums and guitar amps will be change min of 80 buks the the whole night

the recording will take place overnight and its only available monday till friday only

im doing it for asigment that is overdue

equipment include a yamaha guitar amp and bass amp and tama drum set-u can also bring yr own stuff

in the control room : the Dcomand krk 5.1 speakers, 24 inputs , will be using protools to do the recording

I got a lens which my friend call me to pass it down to his cousin... but it has fungus growing, i keep it in a box with a silica gel , keep it in a dry and cool room , and travel here in a car away from the sun then. i did not check it not open it , when it reach to his cousin , he open the apature and saw sumting there .. he say maybe a fungus
and he say it was okay when i pass it to u

guys i need your help.. wheres the best place to servis or What should i do ?

should i send it back to nikon? or is there any other place can servis for me?
