On April 6th, we will be releasing a system update over Xbox LIVE for your Xbox 360 that will allow USB flash drives to be used for storing profiles, game saves, demos and more. I’ve been testing this feature out for a few weeks, and I have to say it’s really great. Once you take the system update on April 6th, you’ll be able to connect your USB flash drives to your console and head over to the memory section to configure your new storage device. Once you do that, the system will conduct a one time performance and integrity check to confirm the drive is working properly. You will then be able to configure how much storage to use on the device, up to 16 GB. The remaining space on the flash drive will be accessible by your PC or Mac. USB Hard drives may work, but like flash memory, you’ll only be able to use up to 16GB of space. Since performance on flash based USB storage is usually better, I highly recommend using flash based instead of spinning media like a hard drive…it’s just going to give you a MUCH better experience.

We’ve also enhanced the memory management functions, so you’ll be able to have better control on what you want to copy or move between storage devices.

A couple of points:

* You can have 2 devices connected to the console at a time, enabling up to 32GB of simultaneous storage.
* The system won’t just configure the device once it is connected to the console. You’ll need to head to the memory area in system settings, select your USB Device, and choose from Configure Now (Format and Configure the Full Device), or Customize (you can choose how much memory you want configured for Xbox360 from the free space on the device.)

While any flash drive can be used, we are partnering with SanDisk to release an Xbox 360 branded USB flash drive in May that comes pre-configured out of the box and ready to go. I’ll provide links to those drives once they’re available. Until then, starting April 6th (when we release the system update) you can pop any flash drive over 1GB into your Xbox 360 and configure it as storage.

I have a problem whereby , after my router has been turned on for about a day or so , whenever I try to access the administration page @ 192.168.1.1
This happens

Eventually , it will totally blank out , and when I go there , it is just empty

Any ideas ?

Bad connection with battery on Wireless Controller

Hi guys ,
I seem to have this unending problem with my controller just going off for no reason . I somehow suspect it is with the connection in the battery pack , because when it rumbles , or when I hold it too tight ( sometimes things get quite exciting ) , it just goes off . I'm using normal AA batteries , it is not weak batt's because I've tried changing to new ones and the problem reoccurs .

Anyone got a low-tech solution ? Don't bother recommending rechargeables .

Today , I went to Subang Parade , searching for a phone to buy ...

Went to this shop , Takacom , in Subang Parade , LG Floor .

He offered me the SE K770i , told me it is original , and quote me , RM629 , mighty high , but I wasn't too fussy as I was in a rush ..

I asked him numerous times whether it is AP or original , he claimed that they do not sell any AP set ... Interesting ,

Anyway , when he popped in the warranty card , I saw that it is Final Choice , and I remembered Final Choice was an AP company

But he assured me that , I can go to SE Service centre to fix the phone if I have any problems ,

So after checking through the net thoroughly , i'm very conviced that he sold me AP phone ...

I feel like lighting this guy's arse on fire !

I've seen some articles online but never been able to go around doing what they've pointed out .

Anyone got a clear cut and simple way that works ?

I hear the best way is to convert it to MP4 ...

Difficulty in finding games

I've walked casually through two shopping malls in Subang Jaya , and I've barely come across any shops selling original games for the Xbox 360 . For ahem games , needless to say lah , we are in MALAYSIA ! But what about original games ? Is GH the only solution ? I'm only seeing Play-Asia as the most convenient solution considering the wide variety available ..

Anyone knows where I can find a good variety of games in the area?

MSN Messenger does not remember me

Whenever I shut down my PC , when I turn it on again , the MSN messenger login fields will be all blank

I never had this problem previously and only recently this happened , everytime I login and choose remember me , when I shut down my computer , it will all be gone ..

My outlook , I will always check the Remember password whenever I put in the password but every time I open outlook I have to put in the password , evne though I check the ' Remember Password ' checkbox , 15 minutes later when It checks for new emails again , it will ask me for the password again .

It will ask me the password twice , once for the incoming and again for the outgoing ..

This is very annoying .. Anyone have any idea whats going on ?

Using Outlook 2007 , Windows Live Messenger , not sure what version ... But not that old as I tried reinstalling MSN but didn't fix my problem

I do not want a place that is too congested , more like finding for a place that is quiet , monetary issues should be left out and it will be looked into and it will be judged on the feasibility of your suggestion .

Shall we disregard the options which include the likes of TGI Fridays , Victoria station and etc. as it will be riddiculously crowded and not worth the money that i'd pay to have a romantic dinner with someone I love ...

Unable to boot up after shut down

Everytime I shut down my computer
When I turn it on again , it will stop at Verifying DMI pool data .... and will not move from there no matter how long
I have to reset the BIOS by flashing it on the motherboard , then only I can pass that . But sometimes even that doesn't work

Any idea whats going on?
