Do u think it is a battery issue?

my ip4 is behaving abnormally after upgraded to iOS7. it kept rebooting after few minutes & overheated! the screen turned into faded colour and restarted.
i have done all Reset and Restore still didn't work.

I'm trying to Restore to iOS 6..not sure if this work. i also suspect it's the battery going RIP since i tried charging it from morning till now it's now 40%.
does anyone knows how much is a original or refurbished ip 4 battery cost?

i've seen some electronic stores they have trade-in for ip 4 for a very low price!!
do u think they are selling the battery separately?

MBP is performing slowly

I'm pretty much a novice user when it comes to OSX. can I ask some questions..
is this a good solution if I wanna format it coz my MBP is performing slowly for quite some time?
It is the late 2011 series, it has 4GB RAM, I opened a few applications (Google chrome, MS Words) sometimes it just hanged for no reason, especially MS App it took long time to launch sometimes and then if failed I have to force to quit, worst case restart it. I do not know the root cause of it.
i noticed sometimes the bottom of the case get heated up easily, could this be the root cause also?
(previously installed avast anti-virus but uninstalled, it is still the same)

Does OSX has disk defragmentation tool like windows?

Is it the best practice to format it first and make another partition for Dual OS?

I'm using a NTFS external HDD for backup will it cause any issues later when restoring the files to newly formatted OSX?

mismatch job scope when interview

Hi guys.. this is my friend's case. would like to know what's your thought on this.

he is a fresh graduate and was called for an interview. the job he applied is IT related (non Sales) as what mentioned in the job search site.
but after interviewing he realised is a IT Sales job which he reluctant to accept it. He felt frustrated n angry coz he travel to other state just to go for interview and also been cheated by their advertisement in the job search site.

My question is can we take action against the website that provide wrong info? or even blacklist their company? (it is just a new company afterall)

i had a discussion with my friends regarding this topic recently. my friend mentioned he was really interested in a particular post and he was called up for pre-screening by headhunter. later on she was satisfied, she told my friend to fill up a personal details form with current salary column. according to him , the lady told him to fill up his current basic salary - clearly stating all monthly benefit for reference.

my question is it a standard practice/necessary to include additional benefits in details to those headhunters?
If it is so, this may leave little room to consider or negotiate with the hiring company later. besides, the hiring company may not be happy if the stated benefits are way better than their company. well, till now he said wasn't called up by the headhunter even if everything submitted was very detailed.

Is it to say being honest will not be entertained?

Hi guys I need your help.

The story goes like this.
I signed up their membership almost 1 month ago. The day when I joined, I have told them I will consider the training session but do not want to take their training session first coz I said I wanna try out this facilities here.Firstly, the consultant shown me around the fitness center & the all the facilities around. After this, we sat down , he started to talk about the training session and he asked an instructor to come by to explain in further on the training session package. After explain all those, I still gave them the same answer that I do not want to take the training session. Later on the consultant guy he pandai pandai took my CC to swipe it without my permission. I argued with them saying I refuse to take it. I told them to cancel the transaction for the training session. Then, they let me signed the membership agreement. I called the bank they said they need weekday to do the reversal transaction. To my mistake, I did not request them to do the reversal transaction on the spot.( If anyone planned to join this fit center please beware of this guy! )

Eventually few weeks later, I got my CC statement; the membership & training session amount are both showing in the statement means that he did not void the transaction on that day. Last weekend I went to look for another consultant lady. I explained the whole story to her. She helped me to check on my account. She also helped me to verify with the consultant guy regarding the training session and they both came to know I did not signed any agreement for it. I also let them know the transaction code, she helped me to check on the transaction.

Later she said she will assist me to check with the main branch for this transaction issue. According to her she promised to call me back on yesterday. To my surprise , when I called to the center I can’t reach her and I went there also can’t find her at the counter. Last week I have called up the bank to ask about this reversal transaction. The bank told me I either have to check with the merchant (the fitness center) to do the cancellation or to fill up the CC holder dispute form.

So now who is the right person to look for in this case.Should I look for their main branch manager/ account manager if the consultant lady (who promised to call me back) failed to contact me today ??
What else should I do now...Later I need to call to the center to talk to this consultant lady.

this really ruined my mood for the day!!

Anyone could advise on this.

Resignation Doubts...

hi there....i'm currently working in a MNC company...i have some doubts about the resignation letter.

i) who am I supposed to address in the letter since I'll be passing the letter to HR. ( is it appropriate to just put this "To Whom It May Concern")

ii) is it not neccessary to inform my manager about it since I'll be passing the letter to HR. i hope to make this as quick as possible without them noticed this and invite me to room to have a serious talk.

iii) What does it means?

iv) do u guys usually write in the letter u'll be going to other company or giving ambigious reasons for leaving the firm.. i really don't know what reasons to write leh...

personally, i prefer Tecra A6 than others but it's just kinda pricey.
