Malaysia is a tough place to really look for diverse music as local stations all plays the typical mainstream pop. A year plus ago I discovered iamamiwhoami and it simply blew me away. Their work is not only inspiring in terms of music, but also accompanied by a series of music video cleverly planned and encrypted with many hidden abstract codes.

If you think Beyonce n Gaga audiovisuals r groundbreaking, all i can say is that Malaysia has been so under the hood for not knowing there r many artists that already been there and done that, and one of them that able to successfully bring it to surface via youtube viral teasers r none other than iamamiwhoami.

Yesterday they finally announced their 3rd audiovisual album titled BLUE, n this release is the first community funded by allowing fans to "GENERATE" on their own website, no explanation, no goals.

When most indie music got their projects funded via kickstarter or pledgemusic, they did it solely on their website WITHOUT any much details provided n yet they successfully pull it off.
