Alright, my Inspiron 1525 is dying already, so I need something better to replace that, and I have set my sights on the XPS15.

However, hearing the rumours of something wrong with it as of right now, I come bearing questions:

a) Should I buy it right now, or should I wait?

b) If I do wait for a better version of it to appear, will its price drastically rise?

Just tell me of what I should do now.....

Need a new handphone

Hello there ladies and gents. I just have a simple question:

What is the most preferable mobile phone that has these prerequisites:-

a) Very loud (as in audible in the middle of a busy crowd, ala Low Yat level crowded)
b) Is very simple (Only a camera, has quad-band coverage and nothing much else)
c) A Nokia.

Would gladly appreciate it if anyone of you could offer a good suggestion.

Alright, I've been hearing rumors over various Twitter accounts that he just passed away. If this is true, I will be bloody sad, for if more talented directors like him go off, while people like Fukuda Mitsuo still live, sometimes justice is not served well.

Therefore, if it is true, a salute to Kon Satoshi.

Ciplak Hdd is dead

Too bad we don't have a Leo Laporte here, and I malas to call his radio show on the weekends.

The thing is, my ciplak hard drive started malfunctioning when I was transferring files from my laptop onto the hard drive, into another person's laptop.
Someway and somehow, the second laptop froze for a while. I thought pulling out would be ok. Worse comes to worst only got software problem. Tak sangka after that, no computer could read it.To my horrifying discovery, the hard drive started clicking, the kind of clicking you never want to hear on your hard drive.

Tl;Dr, Is it possible to save a hard drive when it's clicking? Or do I really need to go extreme and freeze it?

Just recently,one of my ciplak hard drives had just died, and I am in the process of attempting to save it. Pray do that my 6 years worth of anime music and other stuff aren't dead.

So here's the deal: Can anyone of you give me the most reasonable price for an External Hard Drive from W.D. (other alternatives if you think that is better)? I'd like to see whether is it worth it to get it from Low Yat and perhaps fellow Penangites, or get it straight from Singapore.

Singapore and Malaysian Hardware Pricing

For years, I've wondered whether the prices of hardware in Low Yat/ the entirety of Malaysia are similar to the prices of our neighbours down south.
For example, If I were to buy an external hard drive, should I get it from here, or get a friend from Singapore to purchase it?

I'd appreciate a quick response to this.

Western Digital Green Caviar 1TB

I'm not sure if this is the right place for questioning it, but if it isn't, I hope the mods can move it to a more suitable topic.

How much is the regular market price of a 1TB Western Digital Green Caviar over at Low Yat, and could it be haggled further?

Secondly, do you think is it a viable option, or are there better alternatives(I want to use it as an external backup unit)?

Transfer of Foundation credits

I know this may sound strange, but here goes:

Is it possible to use a single university's foundation credits(like UTAR's) to be transferred over to another(MMU, for reference). Is it a viable option, or is it useless?

I'd like to hear some constructive criticism on my option stated above. I'd appreciate it for a generous amount of replies.

Apparently Mr Gōri Daisuke has been found dead,and according to sources,committed suicide by wrist slitting.

Oh my dear goodness,one of the few voices I remembered when I first watched Dragon Ball Z in my childhood was of this man's,as MR. Satan,who has now passed on.I would like the fellow /AS/ers to salute this great man who has brought us greatness.Goodbye Dozle Zabi,Heihachi,etc.........

I wonder how many of the /AS/ers over here have ever read this awesome manga,called Strain,drawn by the same man who drew Crying Freeman.

It's a fictionalized story based in early/mid 90s Malaysia,depicting oil disputes,corrupted policemen,the triads and plenty more.
