Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone has managed to get a house through this scheme? I just got changed from "Berjaya Di Daftarkan" status to the waiting list. What is the next step in the program?

Is the loan application and all similar to buying the normal house, or they have different kind of loan system for those houses?

I searched the forum, but seems like last updates also few months back.

Etiqa Insurance Claim workshop

Hi guys,

I am using Etiqa Insurance and want to claim for repair of my car due to a recent accident. I have had a bad experience sending in my car for insurance claim repairs before, so would rather not have the same experience again.

So, anyone know a good workshop to send in my car? Cheras/PJ area would be better since near to home.

I went through the Official list on Etiqa and googled some of the workshop, but the reviews found not as many (most I found is 5 review, that also mixed good/bad). So better ask direct to reviewers here.

Phone no able to charge

Hi all,

I recently bought a powerbank, and charged my mi3 with it. First everything works well, then after 2 days powerbank detect/undetect very fast (like charging/not charging at the same time) and when I charge using wall adapter only can start to charge phone.

Then, yesterday I noticed even charging using wall adaptor was extremely slow (like 300A, instead of the 2100A it should be charging with). And not the cable prob as I charge my friend phone & tablet all get 2.1A. I left the phone on charge on the powerbank (which detected and was charging quite consistently) and fell asleep. woke up battery wasn't fully charged, but the powerbank % got really low (20000mAh initial ~55%, this morning ~10%) which means around 9000mAh was charged to my ~2500mAh capacity battery.

The prob is isolated to my mi3, as when I charge my friend tablet/phone it charges okay with the same setup (cable and everything).

And now my phone dont want to charge at all. Im using different charger also cannot charge. But my friend charge using all the setup I tried.

So, is the prob with the powerbank, or my port spoiled?

and if its the powerbank, how do I claim for the repair on my phone? All this happened after I start charging using the new powerbank. My old one (Mi 10000mAh which fell and charging port rosak) worked well. New one is Pineng 20000mAh model 989.

laptop Charging board burnt

Hi, after checking with PC shop, they said my laptop charging board burnt. Can this be caused by the battery back flow charging current?

Since no warranty anymore, I thought of buying the board and put it in myself. Would there be a good shop that sell laptop hardware components?

Netflix using Malaysian debit card

Sorry if wrong thread.

Someone might have found it out as well, but just in case. just as the topic suggests, we can actually use a Malaysian debit card to get netflix.

I was trying to use my CIMB Debit card with netflix to finish my sign up, thus get the free 1 month trial, and it went through. I tried first time and a message about insufficient fund or something pop up, and when I tried a second time, it just went through.

am enjoying my one month trial right now.

what glasses should i use?

im currently wearing glasses with high astigmatism. right now the glasses that im using has lower power than my actual eye sight so alway dizzy when driving, which is dangerous.

since a new glasses is needed, i considered making a shaded glasses, much like sunglasses, since it will help to maintain my eyesight power. will this option suffice or do i still need the normal glasses(clear glass)?
