Hi all me and my friends came up with an idea as we are all very much into Badminton
so we thought of buying those medium to top end rackets for others to test at small charge.
the idea is to arrange a session once a week and we meet up with those that want to test and let them test it also after testing and if they are interested they can buy straight from us.

Is this idea workable?

Hi all sifu here. I need help to change the network name bcos this is for a restaurant and the ownership had changed so I need to change the network name and password. After I change it using 192.168.0.1 I cant detect the new connection instead I still can detect the old network. Pls help.

Rise of The Kimchis

I've noticed over the past years that this two brands of carmaker are really impressing people around the world.
I think they realized their mistake in the past with all those fugly design and massive competition from other brands and in Malaysia especially the 2 branded sushis (toyota and honda) so there were once that i thought kia and hyundai will dissapear from malaysia in a few years time.

But now since the Kia and Hyundai partnership i felt that they are having excellent result with their new marquee models
Starting from the Kia Forte (the most valued for money C segment car with B segment pricing) Hyundai Sonata YF (the most affordable cls wannabe car with very nice interior design) Besides excellent design and extra features, the pricing is very competitive for other competitor.

Besides that the main point is their marketing strategy of this Hyundai Kia partnership. It is very well planned ok lets start Hyundai launches Sonata YF and Kia launches Forte where one is D segment car with C segment pricing while another 1 is C segment car with B segment pricing so there's no competition between them unlike toyota and honda where their vios and city are competing like hell where the most common question for cars in the region of 80-90k will be these 2. Ok then the Tucson comes in while Kia launches Sorento and its again different class. Then Tucson does well while Sorento is not quite good but after that the new Santa Fe comes in while the Kia come out with Sportage (Audi Q5 wannabe)
Again attacking different segment. Now everyone is waiting for the Avante (US best seller and best rated car) and Optima (The Accord Killer) again im highlighting different class.

In conclusion i would say that the koreans really work well with this well planned strategy to increase korean car's market share in malaysia. Well IMHO it is the perception of Malaysian which must be changed due to past models bad FC poor resale value and fugly designs.

Bad FC is now a rubbish try ask a Forte and a City owner see which 1 more good in FC
Poor resale value is a rubbish 2nd hand value is set to depreciate around 10% per yr so if at first the price of the car is already high then of cos after a few years the price is still high cos u already paid high in the first place
Fugly designs now goes to Toyota and Honda dun believe try compare the Camry and Accord to the Sonata and Optima
Try compare Civic with Avante and Forte

Hi all sifus here my Smart fortwo aircond is down there is no air at all i usually service my car at hap seng star at bukit jalil there but i ask the estimated price to repair my air con is RM 3.8k i would like to go to other air con specialist but im afraid that they do not have sufficient technical knowledge on smart fortwo's air cond.

Please help me.. im suffering from Malaysia's proud hot weather...

No. 5: A Skimpy Camera

As smartphone challengers like HTC, Motorola (MOT - News) and Nokia (NOK - News) embrace the megapixel race with 8-megapixel and 12-megapixel cameras, Apple's new iPhone keeps it cheap with a 5-megapixel model.

This will be a bigger point of contention this week when Verizon (VZ - News) and Motorola unveil the Droid X Wednesday, the newest Google (GOOG - News) Android phone, which features an 8-megapixel camera. Android phone giant HTC has also been generous with 8-megapixel cameras in its Droid Incredible and Sprint's (S - News) EVO
Meanwhile, Apple, always the laggard in cameras, won't enter the 8-megapixel class until next year when it debuts a sweet Sony (SNE - News) camera in its 2011 iPhone. But by then, who knows where the rest of the pack will be?

No. 4: No Swype

If you've seen Swype or used it, you know why this omission makes the list. Typing on a touchscreen is a challenge as the flat glass surface offers few clues to where your fat fingers are precisely making contact. It's an error-prone process that gives one a longing for the raised keys of the BlackBerry keyboard from Research In Motion (RIMM - News).

But the Swype keypad software helps tame the new medium. Swype follows the pattern of your finger movements to type words or predict words without the usual hunting and pecking.

Apple did wonders with the touchscreen, but Swype makes it more useful for those among us who like to type.

No. 3: Video Calling

Okay, it's not totally bait and switch, but Apple's hot new iPhone video calling feature, FaceTime, comes with lots of asterisks and a limited applicability.

Say you want to video chat with someone using the Apple iPhone 4. That someone has to have a WiFi connection and he has to use the same application on his own iPhone 4. You're looking at a small club of people -- not exactly an application of global Skype-like proportions.

No. 2: iPhone 4 Shortages

Strong demand is only half the story for Apple's iPhone sales debut. Limited supply is the other. A shortage of in-plane display panels, the crucial part of Apple's touted retina display screens, has forced Apple's contract manufacturers to cut production rates in half to 1 million iPhones a month.

This means there won't be enough iPhones on hand to meet the presumably high demand. Though it's not a terrible problem to have if you are a gadget maker, sellouts and delivery delays will mar Apple's big iPhone 4 debut. The frustration could push buyers toward other phones.

No. 1: No Verizon iPhone.

A new iPhone is big. But a new iPhone at Verizon? Much bigger.

Apple's exclusive partnership with AT&T (T - News) has been a point of discord among iPhone owners and it has tarnished the public perception of both companies. It also has done almost nothing for AT&T's stock.

Investors have been waiting for the Verizon iPhone. But that's apparently not going to happen until next year, if ever.

So Apple fans who want the new iPhone have to lock in for another two years with AT&T. This scenario is not particularly pleasant considering that AT&T's new subscriber plans put penalties on people (like iPhone users) who happen to be heavy data users
