CELCOM collecting commitment fee in advance

Hi All

I just joined Celcom. Received first 2 bills.

Found that Celcom Sub-line (First 1+5) collect commitment fee in advance.

Example :
Bill for 28 Mar - 27 Apr, you will pay commitment fee for 28 Apr - 27 May
Bill for 28 Apr - 27 May, you will pay commitment fee for 28 May - 27 Jun

I called care line just now (30th May around 2pm) and they said even if I terminate line on 27 May, Celcom will NOT refund the commitment fee for the period 28 May - 27 Jun.

I asked them if this is a penalty charge, the staff just kept saying it is part of process and a few times he tried to term it "registration fee".

I wanted to lodge a complaint with MCMC .. but MCMC website is down

Anyone here familiar with Celcom? is this normal in Celcom?

Hi, I own a honda city vtec since 2006.

Recently gearbox start to have problem, checked, repair cost RM3200 and change 2nd hand gearbox RM2700

Thinking of getting a 7 seater for family car.

Saw a VW Cross Touran 2013 at RM64800 and a Citroën Grand C4 Picasso 2012 at RM64800 on carlist

Both around 55k mileage and claimed accident free

Seek your advice and views... Thanks a lot

Sony Xperia Z is bad quality and no good service

Xperia Z - TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

My Xperia Z, bought in late March 2013, I have used it with great care. 2.5 months later, for no reason the back panel detached from main body of phone at upper left corner.

Spoke to a very rude staff at a service centre in Selangor over the phone, I was told NOT to send my phone there but the HQ of Service Centre at KL. Sent it to HQ Service Centre, I was told to wait ONE MONTH for a "Glue" from Singapore to stick the panel back.

Unsatisfied, I called customer care line and asked for replacement phone because I lost confidence on the water proof feature if they are just applying "Glue" to repair my 2.5 month-old phone. The Supervisor in Singapore, Mr Faizal, heard my concern about the Glue and promised to bring my complaint to management.

After having been deprived of the use of my Smart Phone for 9 days, HQ Service Centre called and said they had [suddenly] decided to expedite and used their "Emergency Glue" and repaired my phone.

Outraged by the ridiculous change of story, I called Faizal. Now Faizal also changed his story and said the HQ Service Centre actually had been giving me WRONG INFO and it was a "Sticker" instead of a "Glue" that was used to repair my 2.5 month old Xperia Z. Faizal also rejected my request for replacement phone on grounds of company policy and said that was final decision.

I once thought Sony has great potential to beat Apple and Samsung, and I have been promoting Xperia Z among my friends and families. Today, I am totally disappointed with Sony phones and its customer / after sales service. They treat customer / after sales service as a joke. Xperia Z will be the last Sony phone I'll ever use and I write this so you can judge the quality of Sony phone and their customer service with more reference. Once again, very very disappointed.
