Today I access BigPay's "Friends Nearby" feature for the first time:

Interestingly, it asked for my microphone access, saying because it needs microphone access to listen to nearby device tokens.

It's the first time I hear nearby user discovery through microphone.

so nearby BigPay users emit some kind of soundwave for my phone to pick up?

Why would anyone need Domino's Express Card?

I order domino's pizza quite frequently, and it has crossed my mind a few times to get a membership card. But every time I look at domino's express card description, it just doesn't make sense.

So you pay RM50 for the card, get a free regular pizza (which only cost like RM13.40 since domino's always offers buy 1 free 1 @ RM26.8)

With the extra RM36.6 paid for the membership card, you are able to get a free pizza everytime you buy a pizza at regular price??
What is that? Domino's memang has buy1free1 deal ALL THE TIME on their websites.

After running Prime95 for only 30 minutes, my CPU temp fluctuates between 81~83C.

I just downgraded from a big-ass heatsink to CM xDream i117 (which is only slightly better than stock cooler).

I do not plan to OC at all. If possible I do not want to spend anymore money on this PC, so I just wanna know if the temp is acceptable?

Btw the temp is like 43~45C idle.

I know they are considered high, but as long as I can be sure my performance don't get throttled I won't mind.

GPU died and revived

I have a 4-year-old MSI GTX 660 Ti. Few months ago it started to display symptoms of a dying GPU - nvidia driver constantly crashing, blue-screen, display lagging, etc.

And then last month it finally stopped working, even though the fans are spinning, it can't be detected anymore. So I switch my display to the native Intel graphic on my mobo but I did not remove the GPU from my case.

Then few days ago I took out the display card, realized there were too much dust on it especially on the metal heat sink and fans, so I unscrewed the fans and remove the dust. I put back the card, but it still couldn't be detected.

Then suddenly today, it comes back alive! (I did not do anything about it). I played abit CS-GO on it and it is still working fine.

So now I am really confused, what was causing the temporary death? What can I do to prevent it from dying again?

I created my Steam account last time in US, and there was $160 USD in my steam wallet.

Last month when USD:MYR was still 4.x:1, I switched my country back to Malaysia and it gave me RM640.XX.

Now that USD is slightly weaker, It got me thinking, can you actually switch the currency to-and-fro other currencies and kind of earn extra forex money?

*When I switch to my account country to Malaysia, it did not ask for any credit card or identification proof. If it's solely based on location, that can be bypassed with VPN right.
