Help needed! A Dummy Guide to Personal Finance

Hi everyone,

Im 28 years old this year and guilty of declaring myself as one of those people who are 'bad' with money (fact: most people are actually just scared).

Just realized on the importance of financial planning. So the only thing I have now (pre-realization days) are just ASNB account (direct salary cut).

What do u suggest a beginner to do first thing? I've been reading around and there's stock, FD, insurance, kwsp account 1 investment so on and so forth. It's very overwhelming.

I dont have a lot of wealth nor portfolio so do u think hiring a financial advisor would be beneficial for me? Or any financial books that are easy and relatable for malaysian to recommend?

Audiobook narrating

Hi guys,

These days, audiobooks are pretty much the trend for book readers especially english books.
I'm just wondering, since I don't see any in Bahasa Malaysia, whether it would be a good industry / career to explore in Malaysia.
And if you think so too, do you know any agencies that open auditions for malay language audiobooks?

Or maybe, if I want to start, any ideas on how to approach the whole thing?
I presume I can just do the recording and editing on my own at home. But do I need to go to publishers first to narrate their books?
Im really quite clueless on the legal and business side of it all.

But really, I like the idea of audiobook. There arent any in BM yet. Or other languages here.
Anybody knows anything about this industry in Malaysia, primarily Bahasa Malaysia ones?
