Hi guys. I'm hoping someone can help me a little here.

I'm a little intimidated to post here at 1st, but what the hell, I need some good advice.

So, I started to go to the gym a little over a month ago, it's a small ghetto gym with most of the members there doing bodybuilding.
But, what I want, is really strength. I'm currently following the 5X5 stronglift loosely, but I'm a little worried that I might gain too much mass.
As I play a few sports, and am looking to venture into mountain climbing and martial arts in the near future, I would like to keep my mass down but be stronger.
Of course, I would like to have the killer looks too, alike to the Spartans in 300. (go on, laugh) And I'm really all for the Gym Jones' philosophy of looks comes along with strength.

So, after all the babbling, my question is, is it suitable for me to continue the 5x5 stronglift, or do i have to change my training, and what about my diet.

Before someone comes in and say I'm looking to be spoon fed, I actually did do my own research, but a lot of times I'm confused by the jargon. And most of the threads here are talking about bodybuilding, and even if it's strength training, their goal is not the same as mine, which is to be compact but strong. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I don't know where to post this, but I guess people here will have a better idea about what I'm asking than most people.

So, I'm looking for musical locket/pendant, i found a few on the internet, but they sound very digital.
I would like something mechanical, the kind you hear on an old musical box, and I would like it to play waltz or classical music instead of pop songs.

So, anyone knows where i can find something like that? Or does something like that even exist?

Hi,

I have some questions regarding MMU's faculty of creative media, and I hope someone that is studying there or studied there can answer my questions.

I'm thinking of enrolling into the foundation course and then taking a degree in films and animation after that.
The problem is, I can't draw, I can't even draw a straight line without a ruler.
So, the question is, will my inability to draw be an obstacle to me? As I know, there will be drawing classes in foundation year, will that suffice?

I already asked in the MMU thread and also another user which is a student in FCM. But i'm seeking for a 2nd opinion, or even 3rd.
I already went to MMU, the staffs aren't very helpful and I didn't get to meet the lecturers, so I'm hoping someone here can answer me instead.

I know there's a Bangkok thread already, but i want to ask specifically about the accommodation.

Me and my friends are planning to go Bangkok this July or August, since Airasia has a almost zero fare promotion
Anyone can recommend a good place to stay? Me and my friends are still students, so, our budget are a little tight.

We have around 5 or 6 people, and budget range is around 50 per night, per person? The most important thing is the place is clean, that's all.

New computer acting weird

just got a new pc around a month ago
its been acting weird this few days. The GC fan suddenly spin really fast
and my pc just restart, that happened yesterday.

This morning, when my mom turn on the computer, she says theres some distortion
and then the same problem happens and it restarts. But it had not happen since then.

My gc is a sapphire HD3870.

PS: the problem happens when i'm idling (surfing the net and watching video), no heavy duties

Recently my friend told me something about RMS, and the higher the RMS, the better the speaker, is this true?

Also, i'm currently using an Aiwa TS-CD20, how much RMS is it? My ears aren't really that sensitive and i dont know if my speakers is good. Thanks for any replies......

How is the quality of films scanned compared to photos took by digital SLR and films that are 'washed out'. Lets say its scanned using a super high quality scanner.

I've just format my PC and reinstall everything.
When i started to watch videos(.avi), the video are very very dark, i have tested in all players and its the same, not just 1 video but all. Anybody know whats the problem?

i was using the gant shell pack last time. then i decided to change. although i ahve uninstall the pack, the gant icons is still displayed and i cant get rid of it. i apply icon packager but the gant icons are still there. anyone know how to get rid of them?
