[WTS] ASP batons

Item(s):
Armament Systems and Procedures, Inc. (ASP, Inc.), is an defensive compliance weapons manufacturer providing equipment to law enforcement and private security companies. ASP is perhaps best known for its telescoping batons. ASP batons enjoy a great deal of market penetration, having been adopted by most major law enforcement agencies in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia since the early 1990s. For this reason, expandable batons in general are sometimes erroneously referred to as "Asp's", as a generic trademark.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHt1yrnzvr0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq97vPi5fqE

-Brand New
-Price nett
-Add RM10 for postage
-Prefer COD

Items available for sale

ASP sentry 16" -RM255
ASP sentry 21" -RM280

Friction loc 16" -RM375
Friction loc 21" -RM400

ASP Sentry batons
Designed for the security professional, the Sentry offers a moderately priced alternative to ASP Friction Loc expandables. The Sentry baton is made of 4130 Steel with a carbon steel tip and a black nickel finish. It has an aluminum cap and aluminum base retaining clip. The 60 durometer Santoprene handle of the Sentry Baton with the Strike Force® grip provides a firm grip under the most adverse conditions.

ASP Friction Loc batons
The Black Chrome is made of heat treated 4140 high carbon steel (the more carbon in steel, the harder it is). It has the Foamed Vinyl Grip for a firm, durable hold. The handle is coated with Zinc and hardcoat anodized black chrome finish making the Black Chrome Baton highly corrosion resistant.

Black Chrome is the state of the art black finish for steel surfaces. It is not not a paint, it is a a true black plating. As a result, it is extremely hard and will not scratch. Black Chrome will not rust as do other surface treatments. It is exceptionally durable and does not flake or peel. The Black Chrome ASP Baton offers deep, rich, black corrosion protection.

• Dark black
• Will not rust
• Extremely hard
• Will not scratch
• Durable
• Smooth
• Deep, rich appearance

4140 Steel

The Steel used in the ASP Black Chrome Baton is 4140 seamless steel tubing and is not commercially available in the United States. Because of this, ASP must have a special chemistry or “heat” of steel poured in Germany and then pierced into rounds. This raw stock is then drawn by an American company into tubing that is made to ASP specifications. ASP is the sole source of 4140 steel tubing for expandable batons. ASP 4140 is 25% stronger than more commonly available 4130 tubing.

[attachmentid=3767431]

Ready made wardobe

Hi all,
Was shopping around for a bedroom furniture and found this

http://www.mixbox.com.my/

Now my ceiling height is about 9'6" and most ready made wardrobes sure dont have that kind of height. The sales person at the furniture shop mixbox can add another 1 foot something and even do the "sealing" at the top so the whole wardrobe looks custom built. Looks neater and no need worry about dust.

Anybody have any experience with this brand?

Kindly share.

THank you.

Save Jalan Petaling (Chinatown) & Jalan Sultan

Pre-war shoplots on Jalan Petaling & Jalan Sultan, some of which are more than a century old, will be torn down to make way for an underground MRT line. Acquisition notices were served to business owners without prior consultation or correspondence from the government. As a result, a famous Malaysian tourist landmark known all over the world is now in danger of having its landscape changed forever.

Most of us here have been here for decades, some close to a century even. Generation after generation, we have toiled, worked and preserved this place and made it into what it is today. Soon, Yook Woo Hin where KL residents will fondly remember stopping by for a 'pau' or Chinese steamed bun on the way to school, Yan Keng the tailor who made our country's first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman his coat and the quaint and rustic Lok Ann Hotel which has been in business since 1957 will be no more.

We are not against development, in fact the MRT line will make it even easier for foreign tourists and Malaysians alike to visit Jalan Petaling & Jalan Sultan. We are however against the arbitrary acquisition of the property where we've been operating our businesses in for years. The line runs underground anyway so we do not see why the acquisition exercise is even required in the first place. We just want to make a living here in this place we quite literally call home.

Please help support our cause to raise awareness about our plight! Thank you! Kindly refrain from posting racist/vulgar comments.

Facebook

Among the notable shoplots to be demolished are:

Kwong Fook Wing Tailor Shop
For most of the people, an ordinary testimonial may mean nothing to them. But to an almost century-old tailor shop located at Sultan Street, Kuala Lumpur, all of the testimonials in the shop have their significant meanings.

Not everyone can receive such testimonials as they are from high-ranking officials, such as foreign envoys, Tun Tan Siew Sin, the fourth King of Malaysia Tuanku Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, as well as the twelfth Prime Minister of Australia Sir Robert Gordon Menzies.

Kwong Fook Wing Tailor Shop was founded in 1915 and the business has been passed down to the third generation. Just like his grandfather and father, the current owner Kwong Kam Lun insists to make every suit by hands.

Yan Keng Benevolent Dramatic Association

The associations that were formed to assist the Chinese migrants can be based upon groupings of clans, trades, cultural and social activities.

An example of a cultural association is the Yan Keng Benevolent Dramatic Association. Founded in 1920, it is one of the oldest Chinese opera clubs in Kuala Lumpur. It raises money for charity by performances of Chinese opera and choral singing. The money is mainly donated to the old folks' homes, hospitals and schools. As membership decreased, part of the premises is now sublet for extra revenue.

The tall parapet wall, facing Jalan Hang Jebat, with the name of the Association on it, replaces the original balustrades typical of the period. Beautiful classical arches line the five-foot way.

YOOK WOO HIN

YOOK WOO HIN is one of the oldest and most famous Chinese restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Established in 1926 by a Lee Hoi from Canton, China, it was located, as it is now, along Petaling Street.

Yook Woo Hin, meaning "jade pot", has been run by three generations of Lees. The current owner, Lee Keng Chee, the grandson of Lee Hoi, has maintained the place with memorabilia like the founder's portrait and old teapots. Even the old staff is retained as far as possible to retain the work culture and ambience.
