Experience redeeming 'Online Discount Coupon'

I was pretty much spoiled with these discounted coupons (bought a lot of em, sigh!) and recently I purchase one 'Hair Rebonding' deal. It was just rm50 deal so I didnt have to think much to buy as it's supposedly a very good deal!

As soon as I sat on the chair,
Hairdresser: "I have to charge rm20 for wash and blow".
Me: "why?"
Hairdresser: "because you need to wash and blow".
That is dumb actually, because in order to do rebonding, you definitely need to get your hair washed!
So i asked "it's not included in the package?",
Hairdesser: "no, that one for rebonding only".
So do I look like I have a choice? NO! I had to pay extra RM20 for it. Might as well state the coupon as "RM70" instead!

In the middle of the process, they asked if I want to trim my hair. I asked how much and they said RM45 (not inclusive with the wash & blow previously). Knowing that I had a choice, i said NO. But you know what they said? "If you trim your hair, if after you wash your hair it's not straight then you can come back and we will do again for you. If you dont trim, we wont fix for you." Okay, what was the deal with that?! When I question why the matter, they gave a ridiculous reason saying if they trim my hair it would be in better place and wont get messy hence the rebonding will stay even after washing hair!

Then, I was trying to be nice (so that they wouldn't sabotage my treatment) and create conversation so i asked the hairdresser:
Me: So must got great response from online ya? Many people bought the coupon?
Hairdresser: Yah.. got many..
Me: So that must be good right.. You should do this often!
Hairdresser: No no.. we'll go bankrupt! We dont get anything from this.. No profit.. Just the advertising only..
Me: Eh, but good what.. People will tell others about this place, and they will come back to do more.
Hairdresser: Nahh.. they won't come back one..

So I don't now what else to say. It seems that they are actually not happy with this deal. So why did they sign up in the first place?

As for the service, I think I deserved what I paid for:
1. After they rinsed my hair and before putting the first chemical, they have to make sure that my hair is dry so the chemical will absorb. But no! They simply put the chemical on my hair while it's still wet.
2. They are SO KEDEKUT with the chemical! Letak sikit only!
3. The sections/partitions the hairdresser took is so big, so malas one..
(If you've done rebondings I think you'll get what I mean)

Okay, and finally, as what I expected and worried of, after a few days when I washed my hair, it went back to normal before I got the treatment. So I just wasted RM70 and some precious time of my weekend. URGHH!!!

Now I'm worried to redeem my other coupons.. Will it be another "discounted coupons = cheap lousy service + hidden cost" ?
