            <title>BAD EXPERIENCE WITH AEON</title>

            <description>Dear All AEON Credit Card Holder,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Planning to apply for a credit card, beware of AEON Credit Service.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would advice you not to apply any credit card from AEON and if you have credit card with AEON, I would suggest you to cancel the card immediately or else, after few years, AEON will start to debit your credit card account with some debit adjustment.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is what happened to me since July 2009 when I received a credit card statement from AEON that shows Debit Adjustment of RM 335.44 billed to my credit card. &lt;br /&gt;Called &amp;amp; Email to AEON to request for clarification on this debited amount. Replied from AEON is more then a month.&lt;br /&gt;To my surprise, this amount of RM 335.44 was duplication posted in my credit card account in May/2007. &lt;br /&gt;According to AEON, one of my cheque payments of RM 335.44 in Nov 2006 was posted again as a payment in May/2006.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;First of all, how could AEON post a payment to my credit card account in May/2006 without any cheque?&lt;br /&gt;Reason from AEON was, the same cheque was erroneously retrieved and posted again to my credit card and only discovered in July 2009. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Where is the control in the first place in AEON? Why this error only found out after more then 2 years? AEON never submit any audited account?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;I have wrote to AEON to write off the amount of RM 335.44 + RM 20.98 (interest since July2009) = RM 356.42, but AEON insist me to pay them RM 335.44 and waive on the interest charges only. I would not pay any single cents to AEON since this duplication happened more then 2 years. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Referring to the Terms &amp;amp; Conditions in the statement on the “STATEMENT ACCURACY”:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;English: The entries and balances shown will be considered correct unless you notify AEON for any discrepancy within 14 days from Statement Date.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bahasa: Kemasukan dan baki yang ditunjukkan akan dianggap betul melainkan anda memaklumkan AEON bagi sebarang penggahan dalam tempoh 14 hari dari tarikh penyata.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;a)      Should I/customer inform AEON on the discrepancy within 14 days if the statement is correct &amp;amp; accurate? I never inform&lt;br /&gt;b)              Can AEON explain regards to the any discrepancy must be notify to AEON within 14 days. &lt;br /&gt;        It these only apply to customer and AEON can notify customer on the discrepancy/duplication after 2 years?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Till today, this matter is still unsolved and pending. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
