Hi guys,

I did some research but the outcome is not so convincing so just asking here.

Have there been any price changes in the properties near the city centre following covid19? Say around KLCC, Bangsar, Sentral?

My new job is in the city centre and I am wondering if I can finally move out of the suburb as I have a reason now and if the price is finally palatable (up to 800K).

Anyone listened to the interview this morning? The guest was excellent in taking questions and managed to sell IBM and relate the business to scenarios in Malaysia, but the interviewer didn't get much of the cue and continue to throw questions from the script, how disappointing.

Is that all BFM have to offer? Come on, she's the CEO of a large IT company and you called it old school and asked her about IBM's legacy? No homework done except the financial figures? Can't someone like Khoo Su Chuang or Julian Ng interview her instead? Even Joyce Goh will fare much better. The interviewee must be thinking why she got interviewed by an auntie from the pasar instead of someone who knows the technology and the business better, a wasted opportunity really.

I live in PJ/TTDI area, and I am looking for evening classes that I can attend to fill some free time.

Subjects that I have in mind are journalism and computer programming, but I may consider other courses as well. The main aim is to learn something which is outside of my specialty or professional, and it does not have to be diploma or degree, just to learn and improve

I have looked at KDU website but didn't find any evening courses, is anyone here attending that type of classes or is aware of such institution that offer courses like this?

Hi all,

Can I have some advice from anyone who have used a Point of Sales software that runs solely on an iPad, and connected to a cash drawer and thermal receipt printer?

It is for a small retail setup with 1 terminal and few SKU, no need barcode scanner, just to record sales and print GST reports at the end of the day and month. Inventory, cloud, and sales projections are not required.

Prefer advice from users than sellers, thank you.

I have an iPhone 4 whose home and power buttons failed at the same time but the phone is still working.

Anyone knows how much is the repair cost in PJ/Puchong area and which shops are reliable?

I saw some videos on the repair but the steps seem very complicated and I do not know where to source to parts.

Hi guys, my website recently got defaced. I contacted my provider and they deleted the defaced file.

Since I found out the webserver running on very old apache, I asked them what will they do to prevent, but they say nothing they can do because I am not the only site on the server, patch later other user have problems.

So I plan to relocate. Is it a norm hosting company don't patch the server? What is the usual arrangement like? Do I have to pay more for web servers that promise patching levels? Any recommendations?

Hi,

Can I ask if any of you have come across the most simple type of POS system or software available in the market that can satisfy GST requirements?

Basically for mom and pop shops where training should be minimal, maintenance and support can be done over phone or remote access.

Is it a requirement to use specialized hardware with touch screens?

What about just a laptop with POS software, a handheld scanner with a receipt printer?

Will the POS software suffice or there needs to be another accounting software to do reporting to custom?

What is the lowest cost for a shop to start on 1st Apr?

My toilet sometimes overflow and I suspect this part in the picture is faulty. I can't find the float thingy in hardware stores like Mr DIY or ACE Hardware, anyone knows where can I find this? Do I need to replace the whole assembly or just the faulty part? My toilet is a 1 piece type, can I change it myself? Thanks!

Hi all, need some advice before I invest in this device. I need a repeater that can be configured without a pc, ie. to configure from my phone. Wifi in hotels are usually weak in the room so I need a repeater to boost it but I usually don't bring a laptop with a cable, so I am not sure if I can configure this device with just my android phone via wifi, or this is just not possible?
