Any jazz piano teacher?

I have passed both grade 8 theory n practical in classical piano.. I Am very interested in expanding my musical spectrum into Improvising gospel, jazz, blues style. Had enough of years of sonatas, preludes n fugues. I wanna rock bayyybeh.

Any recommendations?

mostly for gaming purposes, might do a little photochop or 3d work on the side. And it needs to be compatible with my monitor that has a blue output pin-plug thingy at the end (22").

best way to learn notes? (guitar)

any recommendations on most efficient method to learn the notes on guitar?

On piano for example, middle C will stay where it is, it won't run away whereas on guitar.. Its very confusing, as you have one same note repeated all over the fretboard. Its all a mess.

Currently i am learning scales - G Major for example. it seems to work fine at first but soon I start to become dependant on my finger's muscle memory, I know if i just shift up 2 frets i can automatically get A Major scale perfectly... but still dont know what notes ayam pressing. zzzzzzz

Hi does anyone have links to a good website that provide free music for download? LEGALLY of course.

Music as in short jingles for advertisements, etc.. lets say i did a 30 second short animation clip and i need some audio to go along with it.

I found a few sites, but more helps so far i didn't find anything that suitable.

Is it possible to self learn bass guitar?

Interested in playing some groovy stuff with a bass.

Wondering if I can learn how to play bass by myself? I'm already 21, i don't want to burden my parents. I have a relatively solid musical theory background, and am able to play "root-note bass" lol. i dont know what you guys call it.

I know you can't self learn with certain insturments, like the Violin. The technique in finger positioning, arm shape, posture, etc all flawed without good guidance.

I'm just not sure if the Mr. Bass guitar is as fickle as Ms. Violin.
