Hi,

Lately I've been thinking of leaving the corporate world and starting my own business. I've been running several blogs for many years. Not highly profitable but some nice extra income. I've been wondering for those who are doing it in the same niche like tech or product review blogs, what would be the advisable way to go. Here's a possible scenario:-

1) Blog income from say ads and affiliate around RM10,000 monthly
2) Personal expenditure to purchase products for the reviews say monthly around RM2,000
3) Hosting fees + domain yearly of say RM600
4) Paying freelance contributors monthly (no full-time staff)

From the scenario laid out above, which of the sole proprietorship or private limited company would be the better way to go for to reap the maximum profit/tax benefits? I'm not concerned about potential investors or needing a loan, I'm more interested if I could write off those extra expenditure as company expenses and whether the yearly cost of something like private limited plus the effort is even worth it.

Thanks in advance.
