Sorry if this isn't the right thread to post. Please advice.

We were supposed to build our house last year, unfortunately due to some unforseen land issues that needs to be settled by the land office prior to building, it will take a long while more.

I have paid and signed for some of the items at HomeDec 2014 and Perfect Living 2014. Looking at the situation, the issue will not be settled anytime soon.

As such, I'd like to sell out what I've paid. If any of you are looking for similar items, please let me know so you can pay me the deposit I paid, and still get last year's price. Win-win situation.

The Mi In-Ear Headphones came together with my RedMi Note bundle purchase. The Apple Earpods came with my iPhone 5 32Gb and 16GB when i bought them 19 months ago from Maxis.

However, I'm not a headphone/earphone/earpod fan so I don't need them.

This also explains why there's no more warranty for the Apple earpods as I'd assume that the warranty expired after 6-12 months. If you choose COD, you can test the Apple earpods first to ensure it works well. smile.gif

Hello all!

For the past months, this forum has given me a lot of valuable information to help ease the stress of building my new house. Like a few of the forum members who have documented their journey and helped me heaps with their postings, I'm inspired to start one too so that others can benefit from it like how I've gained from the rest.

To cut the story short, I'm building a single storey house on an 3,655 sqft empty land (bungalow lot).
My single storey build-up is around 1,920 sqft.
Living

Master Bedroom + Toilet + Wardrobe

Room 3 (Utility)

We have just finalised the construction drawing with my architect and we are ready to build!

Looking at this timeline:

December - Completion, move in!

That's all for now. Not much learnings yet, will post as I go along.

they are all in good condition, just that it's 6 years old so there's definitely dirt you have to clean out and stickers as well (clean it with eraser or oil, works perfect).

These 60 units of iMac belongs to a renown international school. They upgrade their machines once every few years, and now is the that time again. These units are used by teachers (as personal computer in their classroom) or by students for design classes. The units work perfectly well and have original Microsoft Office for Mac installed in them. We all know Apple products are of quality and they go a long long way. These products are not the latest model in town but they function perfectly well. Good to get for your parents or kids, uncles aunties or nephew nieces.

hello, i'm using a macbook, hence unable to play dota 2. been addicted to the game recently and am currently looking for a windows based laptop that supports the game well.

should i get a used laptop or does it cost very little to get a new laptop just for the game?

anyone selling your used laptop (good working condition) that can support the game without it being laggy? if yes, please offer me your best lowest price. i'd prefer for the laptop to be running on windows 7 (and above), a reasonably good graphics card, and COD in klang valley (preferably ampang).

Hello. I'm sorry if this has been asked many times... I have been reading many lowyat forum threads these few days but still don't understand how these IPTV boxes (dreambox/skybox/openbox/etc) works.

My situation: We are have Astro and Unifi at home. I heard from many of my friends that there are devices out in the market that can allow you to receive ALL Astro channels at a very cheap, minimal price.

Now what I don't understand is... are all these boxes (dreambox/skybox/openbox/etc) the same? Meaning, do they have the same channels? Or do they each carry different channels so I have to choose them according to the channels I want to watch?

I read online that there are some that requires Astro dish, some doesnt. I'm fine with either way, I just want to watch all Astro channels and if possible, as well as extra channels from overseas. Which box should I get?

Some people say they can offer Astro First, Astro Best... is that an add-on? What is a cline? And some say you can watch youtube channels, or channels from other countries... Some also say the software needs to be updated, etc.

Some also ask for a monthly/yearly subscription, but some others want a one-time off fee. I called this guy from lowyat and he said he charges RM650 for lifetime, and if ever one day I am not happy, he will refund RM600 to me. He didnt bother explaining much so I still don't quite know how it works (what channels I'm getting??) and what if say after one year he runs away/company closes down, do I still get to watch?

I'm so sorry for throwing out so many questions. Would appreciate if anyone of you could explain it to me in simple terms.

Reason for sale: I run my own online blogshop at www.catch22store.com and was initially planning to take my own clothing photos. But it turns out I really can't do it with my Canon S90 and I have totally no experience at all. Some people advise me to buy a good DSLR camera but because it was really tedious having to take photos, making sure the lighting is right, and then view it on my laptop, edit them. It was super tiring, so I resulted to paying people to take for me instead (fuss free and nice!). I didn't want to gamble and dump more money in to get a DSLR. Hence, there is totally no use for me to keep the whole home studio DIY set that I bought early this year. Items are in totally mint condition so this is a huge bargain.
