Returning from US job hunt

All,

I have been working as a plant engineer at a chemical manufacturing plant in the US for 2 years as of today. This is my first real job out of college and I really enjoy it here. However, my company is not willing to sponsor a work visa for me to continue working once my student visa expires next July.

If I am looking at returning next year around May-June time-frame, is it too soon to begin applying for jobs in Malaysia? What the general expectations employers have when filling out roles? I've also attached a sanitized version of my resume for feedback.

Biofuel market in Malaysia

I recently accepted an offer as a Plant Engineer in an ethanol production company in the US. Once my work authorization expires, I will be looking to return home to Malaysia. That being said, how is the current biofuels market in Malaysia? From what I can gather, it seems that biodiesel originating from palm oil is the biggest.
