[WTA]Computer Science Degree pathway

Got my SPM results this year with a 9A's (combination of A+,A and A-) and a B for Chinese Language in Science Stream. I'm interested in taking Computer Science. I have done some research regarding this and the universities or colleges that are providing this course. But the more I look into, the more I get confused
So I really need the help of you all~ Please give me some advice on where I should go for my CS degree? Which pathway should I take?

LOCAL
1)MUFY --> Bachelor of Computer Science in Monash ( Not really affordable )
2)Foundation In Arts(FIA) in Sunway University --> Bachelor of Computer Science in Sunway
or
Bachelor of Computer Science in Monash
3) MMU Foundation --> MMU CS degree course

OVERSEAS
STPM --> apply to Singapore Universities ( But I'm afraid that my STPM results will be bad and the fees there are too high )

I have read a few threads on this forum saying that Monash Sunway offers decent, pure CS degree in Malaysia. Is this true? I was considering going there but I'm afraid the 90k++ fees might put a very heavy burden on my parents So my mom suggest me to go for FIA in Sunway, then go for their CS degree, if they are able to afford Monash, then they will send me there. if not, then I need to stay in Sunway. and what about MMU? I heard that with all the good lecturers leaving, and new president, new management taking over, MMU is degrading...true?? I wish to work in Singapore companies after graduate, so does the certificate from these universities make any difference? UCTI/APIIT is not in my list because they do not offer CS degree~ Is there any other universities that offer CS course that you think is better than the above??

I'm really really lost right now .. Any help from you guys are appreciated

TMNuts 4mbps user.. During end of July my download speed in Thunder 5 drop from MAX to NOTHING.... After a series of complaints my download speed and all that went back to normal for programs like PPStream and Thunder... But just recently ( Yesterday ) My line starts to suck...I think it is not necessary for me to describe how bad the line is.... consider most of you a TMNuts user...

So any ideas, suggestions to fix this problem? My place have no Astro and those fancy HD tv's...so yeah.... I can't live without P2P programs..

Guitar Beginners

I've generated my interest in guitars through different type of rock songs, alternative, punk ,pop rock emo etc. I know theres a topic about songs that a beginner should learn, but i think that topic does not provide enough information. I wanna learn to play guitar by myself! I got an acoustic guitar now and planning to buy an electric guitar once i can play well ! So can you guitar gurus out there tell me what song should i start playing with? Consider that i love rock music and i listen to english songs all the time. Suggest a song for me and a link to the song tab please .Sorry for my english but you know what i mean. And by the way, do you guys know any FREEWARE that i can use to tune my guitar through a mic on my PC?

My Feb test result for Physics is only 49%.... I suck and math, that makes me suck at PHYSICS even harder..... What can i doooo...... Big brother and sisters, can tell me what to do to get better in physics?!?!? I'm Form 4 this year.

[size=7] I got 8A's from last year's PMR and i'm in science stream this year. Everyone is saying that starting from Form 4 its gonna be very very hard. Although its only 2 weeks since the first day of school, I'm already feeling a bit of the pressure from the all the subjects in science stream especially add math and 3 of the science subjects.Im taking ADD MATH.MODERN MATH, BIO , CHEM , PHYS , MORAL , ENG , BM , BC , HIST & ACCOUNTS.Unfortunately the Bio, Chem, Add Math, Modern Math teachers that are teaching my class for this year aren't so "professional" . So i guess i have to study by my own and that means working harder. Im gonna buy some buku rujukan and some exercises.

Any Big Brothers and Sisters out there who had done well in SPM ,STPM or something like that teach me ways to study? Cos Form 4 is totally different from what it is used to be in Form 3. Any tips and special ways in memorizing, studying?!?!?!? Anything related to this topic is welcomed, no matter what subject. I also need to know what GOOD workbooks to buy, what subjects to go for tuition, how to prepare before monthly tests and so on. It will be great if anyone of you can guide me if i happen to have any problem in the future.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

And please continue to post any useful information regarding to this topic, you'll be saving a lot of Form 4 freshman's life out there

Im planning on buying work books for Add Maths and 3 of the Science subjects. Any recommendations? I remember last time the workbooks i bought before PMR, they are all crappy. Crappy in which i mean the answers are crappy, the questions are crappy, and the price is crappy. So please mention a few GOOD workbooks out there for me, Physic and Add maths are the killer subjects for me( i think ). So im gonna work really hard on this SPM thingy, or else my dream of getting scholarships to go overseas will be starting to fade away...

Anybody know how to memorize better in Chemistry, like the elements in the periodic table? the formula and definition in Physics? All the body parts cell functions in Biology? And how to do well in Add Maths!?!?

LAN Port on my dekstop keeps blinking!

You know the port where you insert the wire from your CPU motherboard and connect to a modem/router?!? And there are 2 lights which is orange and green??Yeah, the orange one keeps blinking even though i turned off the modem!!! This makes my computer wouldnt be able to shut down!!! And i checked my Windows 7 connection settings, it shows that LAN has been disabled and i can not turn it on, it stops at "enabling"..... I had to turn off my main power and turn it on again, then it works fine, but after a few hours the same problem comes again.....the light keeps blinking,plug out the wire turn off modem, still blinking!! What happened!! I just got my computer a few days ago!! help!!!

Internet disconnection on Win 7!

Hi, i just got my new computer yesterday which had Windows 7 on it. Overall theres no problem with it. But not after i started using my internet. The problem is like this, i've suffered 2 internet disconnections since the last time i use, i tried fixing it by turning off and on the modem and troubleshooting it, but it wont work, when it troubleshoots the bar constantly running on "searching for problems" section. So i thought of restarting the PC will fix the problem, but WRONG!!! MY PC WONT SHUT DOWN!!! It stops at "Shutting Down" with the circle spinning, i left it there for a long time, but it is still like that, so i have to turn off the power and start the pc again. This time the troubleshooting works, it says that my LAN connection or something like that is disabled, and it enabled it for me. The same thing happened to me 2 times!! And i just got my PC yesterday!!!! WHY?!?!?

Ooh by the way, everytime i connect to the internet, i just turn on my modem and it will work. No need to set up a connection and connect it with USERNAME and PASSWORD. And i seldom, or should i say never! have problem like this before, just when i am using Windows 7.

Pros please help me fix this problem!! Im sick of restarting my PC over and over again!!

So im powering these hardware with an original 250W power supply that came with this rig. Do guys think i will have problem on the long run, cause i just had it for a few days. im effing scared,im a noob in this kind of situations....Please help

How about this, i take away the 1GB RAM and Sapphire HD4670 GPU on my Compaq PC, and add it into another Clone PC, then i'll give the Compaq to my little brother for web surfing. I looked around LY price list and i think this is what my current budget can afford.

I got a few questions about this build.

1) The most important one, what power supply to use? I dont know use how many Watt. The PSU better be average, not too cheap and not too high end. Please suggest a few brands that are good and easy to find .

2) I've never seen anybody used a PC with 3GB RAM , do you think its ok that i use 1+2=3GB ram??

3) About my HDD, what do you think i should do? Go with 320,500, or 160+160.

Im a noob ,Pros out there please help.
