How to check if your motherboard is a faulty one

I bought this ASUS P8B75-M LX Plus at Viewnet and assemble at Jayacom. Jayacom told me that they couldn't boot the Viewnet's motherboard, so I took it back to Viewnet and let them checked.

Viewnet said their board is OK, no problem, however, Jayacom said the Serial-Number of the board has been changed. You know what that means.

A month or maybe lesser later, I press the 'Power' button but it is not booting. In the early times, I might just need to press 'power' and 'restart' for a few times. Today I am starting the PC for about or more than 10 minutes. I'm not sure whether it is the motherboard issue or power supply stuff, both of them I bought in Viewnet. Do you guys know how to define a faulty motherboard?

Need some advice on desktop PC

Hello, my fellow and kindhearted forumers. I need some advice and guidance to choose motherboard, processor and graphic card from numerous brands. I often see some gag pictures of comparison between AMD, Intel and Ati which are pretty ironic and funny.

[attachmentid=3412892]

Is the picture shown above best describe the feature of each brand? Anyway, I'm looking for a desktop around 2k, including monitor. I love to play games, but not really need some high-end graphics. The games run smoothly and the graphic is quite OK, I will be very satisfied then. Not sure if this is the right place to ask for opinion, I would be appreciated for your time and help. Thank you!

Well, everything back to normal today. My RS speed was 100kb++ and a 40mb file spent me 4 minutes. On the other hand, I got 150kb++ on MU, so the TMNUTS did not throttle them today?

P/S: My downloader is Firefox, the original and the best!
