Razer Megalodon Enquiries

Hello Megalodon Users,

I'm thinking of adding Razer Megalodon in my gaming rig. The problem is I have heard NUMEROUS TO COUNTLESS complaints about the headset. Sound cut off ~~ Mic cut off~~. This mostly happens to OS 64bits. And the worst thing is I'm using Windows Ultimate 64bits too. I know the firmware update is available to encounter these problem but some headsets are still not getting fixed. Some even got worse after updating the firmware complaining about the static noise. Too much complaints in google that I need assurances.

1. Any of you guyz are having these problems? If no, pls also state what OS are you operating in. (Well, of course I hope there isn't any as I like Megalodon very much)

2. Razer Megalodon uses USB port to function. That said, I don need a proper sound card?? Just plug in the headset and you can have 7.1 surround sound? Bose Companion 5 marketing gimmick states that you don't need a high-end sound card to experience the surround sound of the speaker so I assume Megalodon doesn't need as well?

PS: I have an internal soundcard SupremeFX X-Fi from my Asus Rampage II Extreme which then thinking of buying Roccat Kave too but I heard the soundcard is crap.

Pls help and advice

Title describes everything? Any time difference between them? or maybe very small difference? Read a post before mentioning Random write thing but don't know what it means. All I care about is the Windows Bootup, Shutdown and Restart.

PS: Unfortunately, Intel X-25 out of stock atm

Water Cooling Necessary

I have built a PC recently with the specs as listed in following:

Intel i7-920 CPU (Processor)
Asus Rampage 2 Extreme Mainboard (Motherboard)
Kingston HyperX Triple Channel 3x2 GB (RAM)
Asus Radeon EAH5870 (Graphic Card)
Cooler Master 1000w Real Power Modular (PSU)
LG DVD WRT
Western Digital 1TB HDD 7200rpm C.Black (Hard Disk)
Acer H233HGBMID 23" LCD (Monitor)
Cooler Master HAF932 (Casing)

As you can see, the specs are not cheap and I think I may have gone bankrupt after this haha....JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION, is WATER COOLING necessary? I am absolutely clueless about water cooling. By the way, I don't intend to OVERCLOCK for now....but maybe...just maybe I will in the future you never know..hmm...you can just assume I will not intend to overclock the PC.

One thing for sure..I will add in ATI 5870x2 in 2-3 years time..

The guy whos going to build this spec said that Water Cooling is not necessary unless super rich. So im asking for some advice here if water cooling is necessary..

Thanks guyz...My first post in the forum

EDIT : OH.. I heard that HAF 932 include fans as well...just in case you need to know..
