I face this problem since 6 months ago.
I am using Streamyx. This problem happened daily and randomly, no specific time and can be any time.

When I surfing, especially for webpage that content huge data such as videos and pictures, and the PING suddenly turned into very large number, and my Modem Internet indicator "blink" with constant rate, means light, down, light down constantly. Usually after 1min~2min, the webpage start loading again, and the PING goes down.

I tried contacting TM before. But I don't know how to explain my situation clearly to the customer support, so at the end they didn't fix it until now.

Anyone know how to fix this? Advice needed. Really appreciate if you can help.

Usage :PPS/PPTV/YouKu movies on TV with Full-HD resolution... But sometimes will plug it out to use as secondary PC. Sometimes use to download files etc... didn't use for huge load...

But problem that I had occurred now is, i3 2120 is 2nd gen. i5 and i7 3rd gen processor coming out, if I buy now I scare I regret...
Intel Website here hints 3rd gen i3 is exist, just don't know when only... So I want to ask, is it worth to wait, or take 2120 instead?

Since I need to use to stream HD movies, so I think I need mobo with HDMI feature... This is because My TV connection is quite weird and confusing....
My TV have optical and coaxial and HDMI
My 5.1 ch Home Theater have audio jack and HDMI (use audio return channel feature) , but no optical
If not wrong audio jack can't get 5.1 channel audio, isn't?
So from PC using HDMI cable to connect to TV, then use another HDMI cable connect from TV to Home Theater, to get 5.1 ch audio?
But all mobo with HDMI, around Rm250

I know atom mobo and AMD Zacate mobo is quite nice... But refused it due to personal reasons...

Budget: Rm650
got shop offer me i3 2120 + Gigabyte H61M-S1 + 2GB RAM for RM590 (a bit exp compared with lowyat one, cause my Kampung area every computer shop need charge a lot of delivery fee)

Suggest me cheapest HDMI mobo (LGA1155) Gigabyte brand pls...
Ask stupid question here... Sandybridge and Ivybridge have what difference beside performance and integrated graphics?
Processor speed just difference a bit only right? I compare CORE i5 2500 and CORE i5 3550 with passmark bench chart... seems like a bit only, right?

I just bought a new wireless modem router... TP-Link TD-W8961ND
found that a bit not stable....

I want ask...
What is the best VPI/VCI value for Streamyx?

Second, the box have "cool" features like QSS? What is that? How to use?

Third, the modem claimed that it have wireless bridge feature.. What I want is setting-up PPPoE + bridge mode, then can login another account on the same time.... But even though I tried to do that manual connection , it keep stuck on the message "Connecting to the WAN Miniport (PPPoE)", then not responding and connection failed....

The seller offered me top-up RM10 to exchange with D-link DSL-2750U and if the modem is still unstable... Does it worth? But I want to ask, this D-link is better than my currently TP-link one? D-link one got USB, but no QSS. And also, this d-link can support bridge mode also?

Why so hard to set-up bridge mode one? TM Modem no need setting ready automatically have enable this feature already.

Budget, RM<250

Specs...
Intel Pentium D 2.8Ghz
3GB DDR2 RAM
Intel HD Graphics
Monitor Resolution (1440 X 900), not very big one.

Purpose to upgrade:
-wanna to buy games such as HON... and able to play games smoothly...

Suggest me any GC can... Gigabyte brand only... Both Nvidia or ATi also can... Cause others brand my area didn't available..

I just bought for a Sony MP4 player..
But too many settings for music settings, which is ...
- VPT (Surround) - None , Studio , Live , Club , Arena , Matrix option
- DSEE (Sound Enhance) - On , Off
-Clear Stereo - On , Off
-Dynamic Normalizer - On , Off
-Equalizer - None , Heavy, Pop , Jazz , Unique , Custom

I tried to preset to turn
surround - studio ,
sound enhance - off ,
clear stereo - on ,
normalizer - on,
equalizer - on

I found that the sound is nice for heavy song like pop songs, but when I wanna listen for soft song like Kitaro, seems like a bit... weird.. Donno maybe..

I am totally blur and hard to determine the best for the sound quality, can anyone sifu give me best option please..

I need option for natural sound for soft music..
and slightly bass, clear sound for pop music...
and Don't want heavy music... Which option should I get.?

But if I not wrong, whenever I turn on sound enhance, the bass is great but quality a bit worse... is it?

Do you know how to see whether a Wifi Modem Router which can support PPPoE? What I mean is usually a Wifi Modem support auto-connection and will login to your streamyx account immediately once it connected. But I want to know which modem can support PPPoE can login to second streamyx account, just like "manual connection" , and both of the can occur simultaneously.

Moreover, what is the difference between Wireless modem and ADSL modem with wireless?
For example, TP-LinkTD-W8960N and TL-WR940N

both also 300Mbps wireless router, but one got ADSL and others not. So, what is ADSL? Is that ADSL is in term of what I want for?

EDIT: I know what is ADSL edi, but that's is not what I meant for.. But surely what I mean can login second account is ADSL modem

For Windows 7 and Streamyx user only:
Go control panel > network and sharing center > setup new connections or network > connect to internet > Setup New Connections Anyway > Broadband (PPPoE) > simply type username@streamyx and any password.

If it can "verify account and password" but even have error, means your modem can support and that's what I need for... If it keep "connect to PPPoe" , can means that it can't support.

Help... When I trying to replace with a new CPU..
I accidentally broken the fan socket...
although I still can plug in the socket..
But the it is not tight at all...

When I trying to boot it..
CPU fan spin well...
But can't boot at all...

Any solution to fix this?
Buying a new thermal can fix it?

My Home Theater didn't have any digital Spdif port. got HDMI port, RCA Output , Audio Jack, then nothing..
If I wanted to play movie from a PC...

I confused now... Now I have several options to choose.. All doesn't support surround. But I wanna ask which method can reach maximum quality of sound.

1. use spdif cable as audio to TV , use HDMI as video to tv, then received the sound by Home Theater via HDMI.
2. Use HDMI as both audio and video, then received the sound by Home Theater via HDMI.
3. Use HDMI as video to TV , then received the sound by Home Theater directly via audio jack.

Using Audio Return Channel , the sound quality will loss?

Help pls.. I need the best quality.

Need to built a bundle set.. Processors + Mobo + RAM + HDD + Casing with PSU... Others no need...
Mainly use with a 40 inch LED TV, to view streaming online content and Full HD 1080p movies.
Why don't I buy a HDD Player? Cause it costly... And didn't have china program support...
Product like AsiaBox too costly.. RM599..... So I planning to buy a low-end pc...

Got recommendation from kingyyk, to choose MSI E350IA-E45 mobo...
That mobo have processors and GPU chipset included... Might save tons of money..
Powerful than Intel Atom and Nvidia ION a bit, is it?

Do you think rig like that, can fulfill my needs? Can watch in 1920 x 1080 resolution without any lag? I don't know anything about this weird hudson mobo... Especially AMD products...

Planning to buy a wireless router with support up to 300mbps...

If I buying for TL-WR1043ND (http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/prodetail.aspx?mid=010303010101&id=1150)
Product like this is setting your streamyx username and password configuration into the internal memory, just like a automatic connection, no need require to enter username and password to access the internet..

But the main questions I want to ask is , I entered a username and password and set my default account into the modem configuration. But I this product like this support manual connection? Means can I do manual connection again in other PC via wifi?

This is because I using the TM router, the maximum supported speed is only 1mbps. Then if my default connection 512kbps, plus one manual connection account even 1mpbs, but the total speed is still 1mpbs, won't up to 1.5mpbs. So, I want to ask that if I using those high-speed router, does my total speed is boosted?

I wanna to ask several questions..
1. I obtained the information on official Gigabyte Website, it stated that

Is it true? If go for true power 550W, would blown the PC?

2. Getting a H67 motherboard, is it will slow down the graphic performance as P is performance series, and PCI Express x16 slot but if H series not using x16 slot will decrease the graphic performance. Is this statement true?

3. If question 2 statement is false, then what is the selling point of P series motherboard? Useless?

4. FSP 600W True power better than Cooler Master GX550? But FSP expensive =.=

5. Still decide between HD6950 and GTX570... Both got pros and cons. But use ATi can use CF oh... SLi mobo exp.... What should I do...?

6. Adobe After Effect users and AutoDesk Maya users, use GTX 570? Suitable?

7. Another friend trying to reduce budget and it is impossible to getting GTX570. Decide weather GTX460OC and GTX560OC? Which is preferred? But price differences also few hundreds ler...
