Hello, I would like to ask some noob question regarding Paypal, I've just sign up for my paypal account and to verify the account I need either debit card or credit card.

So, I think of converting my existing CIMB Bank Card to CIMB Bank Debit Master Card.

Can CIMB mastercard be used to verify Paypal?

Is there any issue for using CIMB?

Please share ur experience..thanks in advance

Kemerosotan Minat Pelajar Terhadap Jurusan Sains Membimbangkan:Khaled Nordin
PUTRAJAYA: Minat pelajar untuk mengikuti jurusan sains di sekolah semakin merosot ke tahap yang sangat kritikal, kata Menteri Pengajian Tinggi Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

"Ini boleh membantutkan usaha kerajaan meningkatkan inovasi teknologi ke arah transformasi ekonomi negara maju berpendapatan tinggi," katanya pada majlis amanat tahun baru 2012 kementerian itu di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya di sini, Khamis.

Mohamed Khaled berkata, kajian Pelan Hala Tuju Modal Insan Sains dan Teknologi Tahun 2020 memerlukan 60 peratus aliran sains dan 40 peratus aliran sastera, namun ia belum dicapai lagi.

"Lebih membimbangkan sejak 2007, peratus pelajar mengambil jurusan sains terus menurun sehingga 29 peratus. Keadaan ini berterusan ke tahap universiti," katanya.

Beliau berkata, pelajar yang memasuki Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (IPT) melihat usaha untuk belajar dalam bidang sains tidak menguntungkan selain pembelajarannya yang sukar dan membosankan.

"Pelajar seharusnya membayangkan kerjaya yang menarik dan menguntungkan selepas tamat pengajian dan bergelar ahli sains," katanya.

Mohamed Khaled meminta pengurusan tertinggi IPT melihat perkara tersebut secara serius dan merancang strategi untuk mengubah persepsi negatif pelajar.

"Pelajar cemerlang perlu diterapkan rasa keghairahan untuk mempelajari sains dan dapat merasakan kursus sains adalah suatu yang menyeronokkan serta penuh cabaran minda dan penerokaan baru. Lebih penting ialah kerjaya sains menjanjikan pengiktirafan dan pulangan yang lumayan," katanya.

Bagi merealisasikan hasrat itu, Mohamed Khaled berkata, mulai tahun ini, Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi akan menawarkan biasiswa baru melalui program MyBrainSc yang bertujuan menyediakan tenaga akademik berkualiti dalam bidang sains tulen di IPTA.

Beliau juga mahukan IPTA membangunkan institusi penyelidikan sama ada dalam bentuk institut, pusat atau makmal dengan memperkenalkan jawatan baru bergelar Akademik Penyelidik sebagai keperluan asas untuk mengekalkan bakat.

Universiti juga perlu memberi perhatian kepada perancangan dan kemajuan yang berlaku di persekitaran khususnya pembangunan wilayah agar hasrat universiti menjadi pemacu pembangunan tempatan akan tercapai selain sebagai satu cara menambah sumber pendapatan, kata Mohamed Khaled.

Beliau juga mencadangkan agar semua IPTA mewujudkan jawatan Timbalan Naib Canselor (Penyelidikan & Inovasi) bagi memastikan usaha pembudayaan dan kecemerlangan penyelidikan serta kesinambungan semua program yang direncanakan, dilaksanakan dengan sempurna.

Sementara itu, Mohamed Khaled juga berkata, pindaan Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti (AUKU) 1971 yang akan dikuatkuasakan nanti, bukan tiket kebebasan mutlak bagi pelajar IPT sehingga mengganggu keselamatan awam.

"Saya tidak pernah menghalang mahasiswa bersikap kritikal tetapi biarlah sikap itu disalurkan melalui pendekatan yang berhemah lagi beradab. Mahasiswa juga merupakan rakyat dan warganegara yang mempunyai tanggungjawab kepada negara sama seperti pihak lain dalam masyarakat," katanya. - BERNAMA

Accidentally dropped my k770i on the floor twice yesterday and when I try to switch on my phone, the keypad and the screen light up but there is no display at all.

I think of changing another phone but some of the contact details are in my k770i, is it possible to retrieve contact detail from my k770i???

Govt giving PSD scholars wrong jobs

SCHOLARSHIPS awarded by the PSD are especially sought after by students who aspire to become engineers, doctors, accountants or any other profession that they are passionate about. The PSD scholarship allows the students who cannot afford the fees to pursue a professional degree.

I am a PSD scholar. I majored in Mechanical Engineering and throughout my studies in the United States, I gained knowledge and experience in the field of my study, with a concentration in manufacturing.

After graduating, I reported to my sponsor and waited for the letter of recall. Indeed, I was recalled but to my surprise the job I was offered had nothing whatsoever to do with the field of my study.

I am not alone in this, as hundreds of other scholars have also been offered jobs with the Government that have no relation to their field of study.

The Government has spent so much of the taxpayers’ money to fund our studies and here we are, graduates with professional degrees, ready to contribute to our country, only to be given a job as administrators.

Why is our nation letting such professional talent go to waste? We are scholars and we wish to contribute to the country through our field.

Putting us to do administrative work is just wasteful and distasteful. I hope the PSD and the Government will look into this matter.

* Problems with controlling feelings such as anger, depression and anxiety
* Adherence to routines and schedules, and stress if expected routine is disrupted

The emotions of other people

A person with Asperger syndrome may have trouble understanding the emotions of other people, and the subtle messages that are sent by facial expression, eye contact and body language are often missed. Because of this, a person with Asperger syndrome might be seen as egotistical, selfish or uncaring. These are unfair labels, because the affected person is neurologically unable to understand other people's emotional states. They are usually shocked, upset and remorseful when told their actions were hurtful or inappropriate.
Being a partner and parent

Some affected people can maintain relationships and parent children, although there are challenges. Dutch research suggests that the divorce rate for people with Asperger syndrome is around 80 per cent.

A common marital problem is unfair distribution of responsibilities. For example, the partner of a person with Asperger syndrome may be used to doing everything in the relationship when it is just the two of them. However, the partner may need practical and emotional support once children come along, which the person with Asperger syndrome is ill equipped to provide. When the partner expresses frustration or becomes upset that they're given no help of any kind, the person with Asperger syndrome is typically baffled. Tension in the relationship often makes their symptoms worse.

Hmm.....for adult...actually where to get diagnose for Asperger syndrome? any government hospital or have to go to any mental institutes for that??
