I have a guitar which belongs to my friend, and it was broken by my nephew, I would like to find a guitar repair service to reattach the headstock as I think that it is still repairable.

Overheat caused by MoBo?

Hi all experts, me again.

Last week I sent my Acer Aspire 5943G back to Acer Highpoint for overheating problem.
and this week they quote me a bill which will costs me RM600 for changing Mother Board!

I just want to ask, is that overheat problem caused by Motherboard but not the heatsink/fan?
It doesn't seem that my MoBo got problem since my laptop was still working well but just overheating when loaded.

Anyone can explain to me? I just wanna know that is this really related to mobo or the highpoint just try to "chop" me?

Help needed from Acer Aspire 5943g users

Hey guys, I own an Acer Aspire 5943g since sept 2010 and until now it is already one year plus.

I had some problem like auto shut down during my last formatting (it shut down without any notice, just like power cut off)
and I bring it back to the seller and they did tell me that it might be overheating problem

I wanna ask, how is your 5943g working? I mean the temperature during idle, loaded and etc.

Mine (approximate via multiple time observes with HW monitor):

Processor (core0~core3)
min: 49c
Max: 65c

GPU
Min: 66
Max: 75

======loaded=====
Processor(core0~3)
Min: 75c+
Max: 85c+

GPC
Min: 85c+
Max: 105c (so far this is the highest number I have seen)

BTW I had dual-screen for this machine no matter what I am doing.
I am asking this because seems I can't play some of good game currently
because currently I installed Dragon age II and it causes thermal shut down (as I mentioned above, the temperature of 105c is from this game)

when I am playing WoW with mid setting, the temp of gpu is around 85~95c
is this normal?

and does anyone of you opened the back casing before? I can't open it successfully =(

Router: Same as above (2in1)

Problem details
First occurence of problem: It happens during anytime that i connected to internet, it is just disconnected from the internet (win 7 there the connection appears a yellow triangle with !, diagnose via windows troubleshooting and it shows DNS server is not responding
Problem frequency: the shortest time in between is about 15 minutes, and the longest time is around 5 hours
Problem description: Every time disconnected, I have to restart my modem and it will re-connect back to internet, it is frustrated while you are playing online game (in a dungeon but you never know that if you can complete the dungeon without DC or not)
I had got TM technicians come and they can't find any problem with the line in my home, and Im not sure that whether it is my modem problem as I do not have spare modem to test.

update 2 (7th July 2011)

I managed to borrow a TM modem from my friend and test, and the second modem is also facing the dc problem as it stated the same error "call drop because echo reply is not received in time"

I have called tm again and ask the CS girl to reset my port, the problem seems unsolved still.
Can anyone give me some suggestion on what should I do and how should I do?
