So the story goes like this

I bought an Kingston SSD on Lazada Late Last Year via their merchant Asia IT Technology

Hardly used this disk, and when I really did use it, its not working properly - always gets disconnected or freezes
I decided to send it for warranty couple of weeks back to Amble Action ( Amoda Building behind lowyat) - Kingston Authorised Distributor / Service Center

I received call from them saying that the product is counterfeit and an email from Amble Action with detailed info.

I tried calling this number attached and could not get through at all
after some googling and posting this info on my facebook
Found out that the seller is known to take fake items from taobao and sell it as original item here even in lowyat

His user id here is vezenjelaine

So from one of his threads here I got his mobile number and called : 014 666 9995 ( Alan Tan)

The Person answered my phone and said that why I send the item to authorizez service center and not to him? DAFUQ did i hear?
So this Alan claims that he no longer works at Asia IT Technology and I should ship the item to that address above to claim warranty
(Now how do i ship an item to someone without even getting any sort of confirmation?)
Edit: the seller also claimed that the distributor could have tampered with the item and its no longer valid for warranty claim
he also mentioned that item was sold on lazada so I should contact lazada to file a complain and get refund from lazada instead
and he just hang up the line saying that I was rude to call that he sold counterfeit item!

Guys How Should I proceed?
Make a Police Report?
Report to Consumer Court?

I Have already made a follow up report to lazada too awaiting their reply

Update 24th Nov : Lazada Decided to refund me as this seller has ongoing investigation for selling counterfeit products and they have received multiple complains too, they urged me to take legal actions and make a report to tribunal court
